The Process of Creation, Growth, & Accomplishment

Overview of the Process
(back)

Process of Creation Same in All Fields and Planes of Existence
Spiritual vision reveals that the fundamental reality and the process of creation are the same in all fields and planes of existence. Only the forms and expressions of manifestation vary. Mastery of the process in any field of life implies the knowledge and power for accomplishment in that field. E.g. the level of the individual, this mastery is the knowledge and power of the Complete Act, which is the capacity to make any act generate the desired results. (MSS, modified)

The Process of Creation, Growth, and Accomplishment
There is one single process of creation in the cosmos -- whether it involves the creation of the universe from a Divine source or creating outcomes through acts and intentions in our lives. It is a process that undergoes several stages -- from vision to manifestation. By consciously following that process, we create and accomplish in life. By following it perfectly and by bringing in the spiritual dimension, we enable unfailing, ultimate, rapid success -- i.e. luck.

The Process of Creation in Life
Regardless of the object, the field, the level or the magnitude of the goal, all accomplishment is governed by a common process, stages and principles. A single process is responsible for all creative acts – from an individual’s smallest, least significant acts to the manifestation of spirit as and in a material universe. That process governs the development of individual character and personality, the growth of businesses and other social organizations, and the political and economic development of nations. It expresses in every act – wherever ideas are conceived, goals are pursued, projects are executed  --  regardless of whether they are the creative acts of an artist or scientists or the routine acts of a housewife or laborer. All these are acts that accomplish something. All are levels and expressions of a common process governed by common principles. (MSS)

The Cosmic Process of Creation Applied in Our Own Lives
At the cosmic level the process of creation is the means by which the infinite, unmanifest and eternal spirit creates out of itself a finite, temporal material universe. An Infinite Being and Consciousness, all-knowing and all-powerful, creates, by itself becoming, a world peopled with apparently inanimate, inconscient objects and unconscious or semi-conscious, mortal creatures. Because that Infinite Reality is the origin, basis and real constitution of everything in the universe, the smallest infinitesimal act of the least significant individual in the most limiting circumstances imaginable is capable of revealing and unleashing the greatest opportunity resulting in the highest accomplishment. Often that infinite potential reveals in apparently chance events such as the first meeting of two strangers under the least expected conditions or the casual communication of a small but significant and life-changing information.

All creation, all accomplishment originates as an act of consciousness and an organization of that consciousness leading to the formation of a result. Sri Aurobindo describes this process of creation at the cosmic level in The Life Divine. (MSS)

The Divine's Power of Creation that is Available to Us
There are many properties of the Divine Reality. One is its poise as silent Witness of its creation. Others are its poise of supreme Love, ultimate Delight, infinite Wisdom, and Oneness and Unity of being. Another aspect of the Divine is its capacity to Create. Out of a conscious Decision of an Infinite Reality emerged a universe of Forms. Out of nothingness came an entire cosmos, demonstrating the Divine's infinite capacity to create.

What I would like to bring out here is that as forms of the body of the Divine, we have that same infinite capacity to create in our own lives as that of the Infinite Reality. We too have the ability to envision something unprecedented in our future and follow a process so that it manifests just as we intended. Just as the universe emerged from the Real Ideas of an Infinite consciousness, so too our heart's desire can be realized through an conception and idea originating in our minds.

I am not simply suggesting that we have the power to create, but we have the power to create perfect outcomes that come about instantaneously or very rapidly -- overcoming normally perceived limits of what is possible, and how cause and effect unfold. If we envision what we want, have the deep aspiration and will for it to come about, organize it in its details, carry it out in a timely manner with consummate skill and the very best of attitudes, and bring the spiritual Force to bear, we will evoke sudden good fortune that will descend on us like a miracle.

In this way, the process by which a universe of forms emerged from the Supreme is also available to us in our own lives. We are therefore also the Ishwara, the divine Creator in potential. We here in the body of God are capable of doing the same as He. In the end, that might be the greatest gift that the Supreme has endowed us with.

The Spiritual Essence and the Process of Creation
The essence of Indian spiritual thought rests on several
principles. One is that the Spirit is One. I.e. that there is is one plane of universal existence. However, because we live on the surface of life, we perceive separation between our own individual existence and the outer universal reality, when in fact they are One. And yet, when I move to a deeper consciousness, I experience the spirit directly without the separative Me blocking that identity. I come to know that Oneness, which gives the greatest of Joy. A second precept is that if I go deep enough within, I will discover my true self' my Soul. And that soul is is a spark of the divine; a nook of the spirit that is harbored for the individual, though its source is everywhere.

Thus in the depths of consciousness, I discover that I am one with all things in the cosmos, including my environment and other, and that there is a a Soul in the deepest parts that is my own representative of the transcendent divine within. This means that in fact there are three essential spiritual principle: a transcendent divine reality, a universal reality in the cosmos that is One, and a personal True Individuality and Soul being.  When we move away from the surface, of sense, and discover our deeper consciousness, we move into identity with all three.

In the modern era however this understanding has begun to shift; or rather add another dimension. It also includes the dynamic dimension of life; otherwise known as the evolutionary principle. Thus the transcendent Reality is not only a spiritual essence, a being, a witness, but is also a creator Force; a power that enables forms of that spiritual Force to unfold in the universe. From out of the Reality emerged a Conscious-Force that then emerged as an invisible Energy in life out of which forms of it took shape -- from matter to human -- through a process of involution and evolution. Thus we see the dynamic, creative power of the transcend divine unfolding in time and space through matter, life forms, and mind, culminating in the human being.

It should also be pointed out that there is only one process of creation in the universe -- one that that we share with our Creator. Just as the universe emerged from a Divine source through a process, so too do we create and accomplish in life through a similar process. We humans envision what we want to become, willfully seek it out, organize it in all aspects, and carry it out with skills and right attitudes. This is the same process by which the universe emerged from a Divine Source.

Together the underlying spiritual reality and the process of creation work together to enable an underlying stable existence as well as a creative, dynamic existence in space and time.

Consciously Following the Process of Growth and Accomplishment
Normally, when we make progress, it is a result of our response to the pressures and challenges of life. This is for the most part an unconscious form of growth. Conscious growth, on the other hand, takes place when we self-conceive that which we want to become. We consciously grow when we aspire to accomplish something, organize the details of our vision, and then carry it out until our vision becomes a living reality. This is, in essence, the process of growth and accomplishment -- the most direct and powerful approach for bringing about long-lasting success and happiness in life. Action Plan: Consider taking up a new opportunity, or developing a new skill, or making a major change in your career, or adopting an important personal value in your life. Begin by envisioning what you want to accomplish, and from there establish the major goals to achieve that vision. Then organize the goals into practical strategies and plans of action. When you systematically carry them out -- supported by your highest high skills, your most positive attitudes, and by making the full, persevering effort -- the infinite potentials of life will suddenly open up before you!

The Process of Creation
The process of creation and accomplishment begins with a conception, a direction, is then organized into a power, which manifests as results. E.g. one man had the conception of that which he wanted achieve, had the will to achieve it, made the persevering effort to see it come about, and yet saw no results. What was missing was a better "organization" of his work; in terms of perfecting the details, in making it more accessible to the public, in developing his higher consciousness around the project, and in other ways.

The Process of Growth and Accomplishment
T
he process of growth and accomplishment that begins with one's self-conception, a vision, and culminates in great material results. This process is in fact the very same process that enables all creation to occur in life, and is also the very same process by which the universe manifest from a Divine reality. It is a process of creation that releases the infinite potential of life.

A Plan to Raise Our Consciousness by Making Use of the Process
We need to put a personal consciousness package together if we want to raise our consciousness. Here's an example: Consciousness goals: (1) Non-compulsiveness; (2) inner orientation that breeds stillness and mindfulness so compulsion is reduced; and (3) surrender to the Force, the Divine, the Mother -- in part because we don't have the capacity to do it alone, and in part because that Power works.

It is a matter of putting a personal consciousness package together, i.e. a personal strategic plan, and then dedicating one's self to it. Without a personal plan, nothing gets done; or if it does, it occurs very very slowly. It is why I have focused so much on the idea of the Process of Creation and Accomplishment this past decade. I.e. to develop a vision of what we want to accomplish, the will and desire for it to come about, the organization of the details, and carrying it out with determination and right attitudes.

In this case, it's not so much to accomplish a goal like winning a contract, but to elevate one's consciousness. Unless it's part of a plan that is executed, it will take forever -- i.e. our aspiration for improvement will quickly diffuse and be forgotten. If executed in the plan format, the energy is concentrated and vast results quickly follow. It comes as instantaneous miraculousness. You get all the results you ever dreamed -- in ALL facets of your life, not just in terms of consciousness -- very very quickly.

It's covered in the chapter in the book on Life Response called "Envisioning and Creating Our Future." Here, I am focusing on a plan to elevate one's CONSCIOUSNESS -- not an outer goal -- and rapidly realizing/attracting it INSIDE, while also evoking outer results, including greater success, love, etc.

I advocate a 30-day plan to give it focus, which concentrates the energy and quickly attracts results (a la 'The Secret'). The Upanishads spoke of this process 3000 years ago:

“You are what your deepest desire is. As is your desire, so is your intention. As is your intention, so is your will. As is your will, so is your deed. As is your deed, so is your destiny.”

Following the Process of Accomplishment in Problem Solving
There is one fundamental process of creation in the universe. The same process that enabled the universe to emerge from a Divine source, is the process by which we create and accomplish in life. For us the process is to envision a goal, willfully want to accomplish it, organize the details and strategies and carry it out with skill and right attitude. If we do so, we will accomplish our goal and then some. We will also garner the sudden cooperation of life for our efforts. Sudden good fortune will descend on us from all directions.

This same approach can be applied to problem solving. Once we focus on a problem to be solved, intensely want to solve it, consider the details from all sides, and act skillfully and consciously to find solutions, they will quickly begin to appear. Even if we struggled with solutions earlier, now they will suddenly arise before us. They may arrive through intuitions of thought, where the solution simply springs into the mind from out of nowhere; or it may come in the form of a response from life, where good fortune suddenly comes to us from unlikely sources, such as a sudden phone call from an unknown party providing the complete resolution to our problem. The latter is what I call the miraculous-like phenomenon of “Life Response."

The key in solving the problem is to really forces on it, want it, and examine it and staying positive at every step. If we do that, life will cooperate and brings forth solutions from all sides, from outside, as well as from within.

On Accomplishment
Accomplishment issues from energy converted into power through direction and organisation. (MSS)

Process or Accomplishment
Aspiration releases energy, Will directs energy to become force, Organisation changes force into usable power, and skills create results out of power. (MSS)

Well Done Acts
Skilful hands, a clear vision, a concentrated attention, an untiring patience, and what one does is well done. (The Mother)

Effort Well-Directed
Effort well-directed breaks down all obstacles. (The Mother)

The Complete Act in the Process of Creation
Every day you are afforded the opportunity to create something perfect. When we follow the process of creation from vision to manifestation, we create such perfection -- and then some. This universal process can be seen in the largest of undertakings, as well as the smallest of acts. An example will illustrate.

You prepare breakfast every day for yourself. One day you have the will to make it, though you are a little fuzzy on the precise entity you want to create. Another day you now exactly what you want to create, yet you are not all that motivated to prepare it. A third day still you know what you want and have the will to create it, but have not thought through and organized the details of its execution. In each of these cases, --and there are a myriad of combinations -- the process of creation is not being followed, which leads to perfect outcomes; even the cooperation of life.

The process of creation in the act requires a vision of what you want to create, which is the conception of the undertaking. For it to actually take shape, it requires your will, desire, and drive. You then need to organize the details so that it can be created as intended. Then you carry out your organized plan through right skills to get the job done, and determination and positive attitudes to prevent any back sliding.

In the case of the breakfast, you know that you want eggs and toast, but the eggs need to have peppers and mushrooms in them. Your conception is clear. Now you have to have the energy, drive, and will to prepare the food. You also need to consider the details of the undertaking, such as which item to prepare first and other aspects of the organization of the cooking process. Along the way, you must have the necessary physical skills to make it happen. In addition, you need to feel positive at every stage, avoiding any negative attitudes or feelings that might retard the operation.

There is thus focus, intensity, organization, skill, and right consciousness in the process of creation and accomplishment. To start in the middle of the process (e.g. with will, but not goal and vision of what is to be truly achieved), or leave out one aspect, will create wanting results. To follow the process in right order and meet all its conditions will create a perfect outcome. Often it will be accompanied by instances of sudden good fortune, where positive developments from the surroundings suddenly and most unexpectedly move in your direction. It is the miracle that unfolds when we follow the process of creation in a given act -- large or small -- bringing out the infinite potentials of life to the here and now.

Valuing the Components of an Act that End in Success
The components of an act are energy that comes from interest, goal that gives the direction, organisation from which power issues, and skills that convert that power into results.

Each component goes to decide the quantum of money earned, but the earning itself depends on the harmonious functioning of all these components. None of these components can be missed or supplied in half-measure. When all the components are adequately present and harmoniously functioning, the result, the amount of money earned, is decided by the values of each component. (MSS)

Process of Creation of an Act: Self-Conception, Limitation, Absorption
-I had dripped the sweetener onto the sides of the bottle when pouring a little bit into my coffee. Also it dribbled onto the table top. I had done this many times before since the sweetener bottle arrived.

-The method was wrong – unconscious. I.e., no conscious energy was applied to it, to the act.

-Recognizing the clumsiness and mess of the past, I wanted to do it different this time.

-I conceived of a way of resting the bottle on the top of the cup, perpendicular, to give it balance.

-This is self-conception of thinking of an idea, and self-limitation to come up with this specific potential solution.

-I then did the pouring, and it came out in just the right quantity, i.e. perfect flow; and with no mess. It seemed like a perfect solution.

-This was self-absorption in the act, as I was entirely focused on executing my plan to the exclusion of all other matters, everything else.

-The execution was as near to perfect as I could imagine at the time.

-I not only executed the act as intended, but I now had the method of doing it in the future.

-In a way, the latter was the life response because I now could do it repeatedly without failure.

-Another response was the fact that I had now been graced with perceiving the process of creation is the smallest of acts.

-That was also a response to my last night’s efforts to begin to think of the specifics and then the integration of ides of the midsection of your book on Life Response, as explained above.

Process of Creative Living
A knowledge entered my mind. It gave me the will and released the energy to carry out an action relevant to the knowledge. I then carried out the act to fulfillment. This is the right process of creative living; i.e. the process of accomplishment and creation.

Ultimate Organization: Following the Process of Accomplishment
While these [cleanliness, orderliness, systemization, etc.]are, in essence, narrowly focused approaches, perhaps the ultimate power of personal organization is to consciously follow a process to fix the course of your future direction in life. When we follow the “process of creation,” we in essence use self-conceptive capacities of mind to plan and organize our future - turning our vision of what we want to accomplish, of what we want to become, into a living reality. By first envisioning our goal, then detailing how we intent to accomplish it, and then making the full, persevering effort to see it come about, we are organizing our future existence for accomplishment and success. Like other forms of organization, following this process can, under the right conditions, evoke magnificent responses from life.

One individual decided that instead of merely dashing out on a weekend outing to take photographs of the shoreline around the bay, he would first plan out his trip. As a result, every conceivable thing went right for him that day. In another instance, when a woman implemented a 30-day plan to secure a new job position, she very quickly received one - her first full-time position in nearly a decade of trying. In a third instance, a man who had avoided working on a project changed his point of view, and then followed this process in detail to insure that it ended a success. A moment after he emailed someone the finished product, he received an unexpected note offering him three months worth of work in a related area.

Follow the Process of Growth and Accomplishment

Consciously Following the Process of Accomplishment
You
can consciously follow a process that will enable you to quickly bring about your hearts’ desire. Rather than wait around for life to dictate its terms through Nature’s slow course, we can instead consciously take the inner initiative, and attract life to us, fulfilling our deepest desires in no time. In following the process, we not only accomplish what we set out to do, but we do so through instances of the wondrous phenomenon of life response. As we direct the course of our lives in this way, we truly begin to see that we can move the outer life from within. And as these experiences multiply, we begin to see that we can truly become the Masters of life, that we are beginning to experience a whole New Way of Living.

Conscious vs. Unconscious Growth
If we follow the process of a personal plan for improvement, we are essentially following a process of conscious growth, which enables is to grow accomplish ten times faster than without the plan or process. Unconscious growth on the other hand can take a very long time or a lifetime to occur, if at all. Unconscious development is normally the result of external pressures and the lure of external opportunities. As we evolve, as we become more conscious of our potential, we move from unconscious to conscious growth and development, which results in far greater accomplishment, success, and joy of being.

The Process is Direction, Organization, and Right Implementation
Direction -- This self-conscious process of personal growth and accomplishment begins with our vision of that which we want to become or attain, that in effect will enable us to move to the next highest level or plateau in our lives. We can then further develop that vision into a series of specific goals that we want to achieve. Such goals can be objective, such as wanting to double one's income or rise in one's career, or it can be more subjective, such as living out one's personal values or ideals. Even goals can be clarified and amplified into smaller formulations, which are the objectives in our plan for improvement. Objectives further elucidate the specifics of our goals.

Organization -- The process continues when we organize that vision, its goals and objectives, and our will into a power for achievement. That is achieved by further probing into these aspects and organizing them at a higher level, in greater detail. The details is the further working out of the specifics of the goals and objectives, including the best and most efficient methods for their achievement.  Organization also addresses he status of our own personal being, our capacities, even our own consciousness. This organization considers whether we have the skills and knowledge to achieve our goals, whether we are organized in our person -- such as level of orderliness, cleanliness, and punctuality -- whether we have the energy to see our vision through, whether we have the right attitudes for their achievement. All of these are forms of "organization;" which is in essence the further development of our directed energy into a power for achievement. Out of this organizational sub process we will be able to develop a clear set of action to dos that if carried out will turn our vision into a material reality.

Implementation and Results -- In the implementation phase we carry out our to dos in our plan of action through our greatest skill we have, and with the highest and most positive attitudes we muster up. We make a determined, persevering, and unflagging effort to see that all of the details of our plan is carried out.

The result of following this last stage of the process is that our original vision and goals turn into great results and achievement. In essence, our original energy that was directed into a force, and then organized into a power for accomplishment, is turned into material results of great accomplishment and success. In this energy conversion process, we turn our deepest aspirations into the greatest results and accomplishment. If our energies have been really concentrated then the results we achieve may transcend our initial vision and goals, ushering us onto a whole new plane of functioning in life.

Follow Process for Ultimate Success
F
ollowing the process of growth and accomplishment to perfection enables ultimate success.

The Process of Creating Great Cinema: The Lord of the Rings
We see the qualities needed for great success in life by viewing director Jackson's qualities in bringing Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings to the screen. First, there is a great interest in bringing this work to the public. This is his vision. Second, he has specific goals in mind for carrying out that vision (e.g. make three films in one go round, raise $500 million, earn $3 billion in revenues, etc.) Third, we see that his interest includes deep values as demonstrated by his dedication to the deepest meaning and spirit of the books. This is the key hidden secret to his success! Fourth, there is his organization of the quantitative goals and qualitative goals (i.e. his values) into the myriad of objectives necessary for their achievement. E.g. the required departments, the project plans, the right marketing, finance, people, etc. This turns the directed energy into a vast power for accomplishment. Fourth, there are the right strategies and time-bound action to dos that will enable the objectives to be carried out in a myriad of details and through perfect skills. Fifth, there is an enormous, tireless, and persevering effort born of his great physical and vital energy (established in part by his very positive attitudes) to carry out the action to dos to perfection. Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, there is a great creativity and dynamism unleashed in the process, revealing the infinite variations, potentials, and possibilities of life. Together these ingredients are the recipe that enables an overwhelming success, and engenders a great Delight of Being. (One other thing: He has captured, got hold of, something deep that is emerging in the subconscious of society. He is a pioneer individual uncovering an aspect of an emerging higher consciousness in the world.)

How to Become Conscious; Make Progress
1. Know where you are. 2. Move in that plane (mental, vital, physical. etc.) to the positive side. 3. Acquire perfect skill and make it into a talent. (MSS, slightly modified)

Optimal Accomplishment
Optimal accomplishment in life is achieved through intense aspiration married to focused key values in life, implemented through maximum effort. Together they create great efficiency to accomplish in life. (That is, the greatest result with the least effort). Utilizing, surrendering to the spiritual Force creates the greatest scope and possibility for accomplishment, and is also the most efficient.

Keys to a Successful Adventure, Endeavor
The keys to a successful adventure -- maybe any endeavor -- is great planning and an openness to the flow of events, of the becoming within the execution of that plan.

Developing, Committing To, and Organizing a New Endeavor Creates Mental, Vital, and Physical Energy
If you decide that you want to undertake a new endeavor, such as a new project or a new business venture, great energy will be required on your part. If however, you are able to think out clearly what you want, commit to it, and work out the specific details (i.e. organize your vision and goals), you will see your mental energy grow, which will then be followed by a rise in your vital/emotional energy and will, and then your physical energy, giving you the necessary propulsion to see your endeavor through to great success. In other words, by leading with your mentality, your mind's capacity for establishing direction and organization, you release the a vast energy of the other parts of your being that can take you to your goal in spades.

Self Conception is Spiritual Quality
Our ability to self-conceive that which we wish to be, to shape and create the world around ourselves is the capacity of man that exceeds our current human ways. In that sense it is a spiritual quality. (Paraphrase of MSS)

Truly Know Act as Process of Creation
To truly know an act is to see the process of creation (the involution) involved.
(MSS, paraphrased)

Normal Capacity of the Mind to Accomplish
Capacity of the Mind to accomplish arises from a clear, well-formulated thought accepted by the vital and executed by the action of the body. This is the process the world follows. This can be raised in effectivity and its time requirement can be abridged to the point of abolition. (MSS)

Untitled
We see how we are using the power of mind to direct, organize, and accomplish in our lives. The process begins with our power of self-conception, gains the sanction of our emotions, organizes the details including those aspects of ourselves that need improvement, and then carrying out all of the details of the plan. Mind directs, and the vital/emotional, and physical aspects of our being follow. Mind directed is an evolutionary development and capacity of the human individual.

Process of Creation for the Individual
An aspiration is a force set in motion that is organized into a power by the organization of the details including the consciousness of the individual, business, collective that is turned into a power and then through its capacities and its actions manifests as a material reality.

There is thus force, aspiration/idea, organization, energy (i.e. organized power of force), and matter (manifestation, materialization of energy).

The completed process of creation enables discovery of the New and a joy and delight of being.

Two Inner Approaches that Will Catapult You to a Whole New Level of Success
Man complains that he is not as successful as he would like, yet does not understand that his inner condition is what directly blocks further accomplishment in life. There are at least two major approaches to resolving this problem. One is to look at negative circumstances occurring outside one's self, and make the necessary corresponding inner adjustment; the other is to do an inner evaluation of one's condition in life, find what is wanting, and make the necessary change. Either will attract instantaneous good fortune from the world around us.

In the first approach, I identify a negative circumstance that is happening in my life, and I relate it to a wanting attitude or behavior within. I then change that negative, and as a result, life will suddenly respond with good fortune. This is the principle of "inner-outer correspondence" in action; that if you change the inner, life will suddenly respond outside ourselves. For example, one woman who saw that her ill-will towards another had precipitated negative circumstances in a completely different area of her life, decided to change her feelings towards this woman. She actually came up and congratulated he on winning a big company prize. As a result, not only did she create good will with this person, but the organization in which they all worked suddenly from out of nowhere bestowed a very expensive gift on every employee, including the woman who changed her attitude! This is one approach to accomplishing vastly, beyond one's current limitations.

The other approach is to "take inventory" of one's self, identify several wanting qualities, and make the persevering effort to overcome them. For example, I evaluate myself in such areas as; level of cleanliness and orderliness, necessary skills, negative attitude or harmful assumptions, bad habits, whether or not I am psychologically strong, whether the work I am doing is really what I want, whether I am fully accepting what life demands of me, whether I have a clear direction in life, whether I am emotionally balanced, and so forth. I thus conclude that my living and work space are completely disorganized, that I have no focus in my life (I am scattered in my intentions), that I procrastinate, and that I tend to be unpunctual. I then develop a comprehensive plan to overcome these and carry it out with a passionate and determined effort. Life then suddenly responds miraculous-like with instances of good fortune.

It should also be pointed out that if we open to the spiritual Force at each point, we can literally move to the top of our field in extremely short order; e.g. in months instead of years or even decades. Thus, in these ways life becomes a never ending series of instances of "instantaneous miraculousness." I call this phenomenon "Life Response." It is a great secret that is currently being revealed to the world.

Method of Progress to Next Highest Plane

Exhaust your energies at this level to go to the next higher level.

  • Organisation exhausts each level and saturates that.
  • When energy is organised into skill, energy is exhausted.
  • The exhaustion becomes perfect when skill rises to perfect level of talents.
  • The perfection helps growth when the attachment and interest which made perfection possible becomes disinterested detachment.
  • When the disinterested detachment acquires energy of movement, it is aspiration.
  • Aspiration in this sense makes progress possible.  (MSS)

Unfailing Success
Regardless of the field or level or unique circumstances, there are three essential conditions for unfailing success in any activity:

  1. Total commitment: Your decision, determination and desire to accomplish should be total and complete, to the point that it releases the full energies of your personality and generates an overflowing enthusiasm to convert that determination into action. Energy is the basis for all accomplishment. Human energy is released when your mind, emotions and vital personality fully endorse and eagerly pursue the same goal. Where there is inner conflict or hesitation or where you act out of an understanding or accepted ideal that the emotions do not fully endorse, the release of energy will be limited and therefore the results will be limited too. Total commitment is based on total knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the act and the role of both helpful and opposing forces.

  2. Positive opinions and attitudes: All your thoughts, opinions, attitudes and motives concerning the activity should be fully positive. By ‘positive’ we mean free of all negative elements, such as falsehood, dishonesty, exaggeration, selfishness, jealousy, anger, irritation, impatience, greed, fear, laziness, etc. We are not saying that you must be transformed into a saint or a yogi or even an ideal human being, but with respect to the specific activity you should elevate your thoughts, feelings and attitudes to the highest level of which you are capable. You may be acting for your own personal benefit, which we may term selfish, but you are always capable of considering and carrying out that action in such a way that it does not harm and may also fully benefit other people associated with the act, such as the person with whom you are negotiating a sale or purchase. To be positive means that your energies are fully released and flow out in constructive expressions at the level of thought, words, feelings and acts, rather than getting caught up in inner or external conflicts and confrontations which waste the energy unproductively. In essence, this means to act out of the highest personal values of which you are capable with respect to every aspect of this activity.

  3. Perfect execution: Make an exhaustive and complete physical effort. Achievement in any field requires an enormous investment of energy and painstaking physical execution. Unfailing success requires that the energy be full and the execution perfect. You cannot achieve unfailing success if your actions fall short in terms of the skill or effort or perseverance required for achievement in this field. (MSS)

Utilization of Energy to Achieve a Great Endeavor
If you have a quest to achieve something greatly, such as the desire to make $1M annually, first one needs considerable vital energy, whose quality expresses as dynamism. Second, that energy needs to be conserved; i.e. it needs to be focused; one's dynamism cannot be spread all over. Third, one needs to implement the venture through the energy conversion process that moves from conception and decision to organization to manifestation. Fourth, at each point you will need to maintain or reinforce your original aspiration. Anything less will result in a fallback. Aspiration normally comes from enjoyment which can flag for an individual on the way to the result. When it issues from within, aspiration is maintained or accelerated, because from within enjoyment and delight is never-ending.

Now our vital -- i.e. our needs, emotions, and social sense -- lead the willing mind. Thus man is now essentially vital. His further destiny is to become mental-centric, i.e. mind should lead and the vital follow and sanction, whereas now the process is unconsciously the reverse for him.

Process of Creation of a Work of Non-Fiction
Organizing a book of non-fiction or similar work and its subcomponents (i.e. chapters, etc.) by first conceiving coherent ideas, then developing the logic of the arguments for those ideas, then coming up with appropriate illustrations to express the arguments, and then developing a concise, yet dynamic and creative presentation of the subject matter is to follow the essential process of creation and accomplishment in life (which itself mirrors the process of creation of the universe from a Divine source).

Unfailing Success/Luck by Following the Process+

Knowledge + Will + the Force that Enables Ultimate Accomplishment in Life
The Indian sage and seer Sri Aurobindo described the process by which the universe emerged from a Divine Source. That process -- from Vision to energy to manifestation -- is essentially the same process by which we create in life.

Accomplishment then -- whether the creation of this universe of forms from a Divine Source, or the creation of a successful work or project in our lives -- is determined by the Knowledge we have and the Will to accomplish it. E.g. I see that I can rise from project manager to project leader, and I intensely want to do so. Together the Knowledge and Will can be further organized into the details that will produce the results I am after. This involves the two sub-processes of self-limitation and self-absorption. E.g. I examine several strategies that will help me move up, such as acquiring new skills, and making a greater effort, I then focus on one or two, come up with a specific plan to make it come about, and then execute through a determined persevering efforts, which then brings me the results I am after. The more we follow this process, the more we accomplish. In fact, if we follow the process perfectly, the results can come about instantaneously from seemingly our of nowhere. I call that a "life response."

While the Absolute (also known as Brahman in the East) evolved a universe of forms through the perfect integration of Knowledge and Will  -- i.e It knew what it indented to create, and had the infinite power to do so -- we do not ordinarily have that unity of intention to accomplish. We might have the knowledge of something we want to occur, but without the will to see it through; or the will for something to come about, but without the knowledge of how to make it happen. In either case, accomplishment will be futile or quite limited without both parts. In fact, in the Spiritual dimension of life-- i.e the supramental truth consciousness above mind -- they are fused. In our lives they are either absent or partially integrated . However if we learn to follow the process of creation in our own lives, we will begin to fuse Knowledge and Will that is the key to accomplishment in life. If we also use the power of the Force -- where knowledge and will/power of effectivity are already fused, we can attract the infinite potential of life to us in literally no time.

Formula for Unfailing Success; i.e. Luck
What are the steps to creating luck on our lives?

In whatever we do, we should have knowledge of the whole. We should look at all points of view. Knowledge of the whole means the good and bad, the high and low, without judging, without reacting; objectively we should understand where we are. We should not distort things one way or another.

In whatever we do, in any area we want to achieve unfailing success, we should act from the highest values that are possible for us. Be truthful,honest,clean,punctual,well-organized,generous,thoughtful,kind and humble. We all know the list. These are not the impossible things; these are human values which society has cherished as ideals for thousands of years. At least in this one area where we want to unfailingly succeed, we should be capable of acting from the highest values.
We should organize our time and energy, be systematic in our thought and action.
We should release our energy, put the full weight of our personality behind what we want to accomplish.
We should not sit around waiting for things to happen. We should exhaust our effort joyously. We should make unceasing effort.
Finally, having put in that unceasing effort, we should do it while shifting our faith entirely to Mother and calling Her intensely.

FORMULA FOR UNFAILING SUCCESS
Acquire knowledge of the whole
Act from the highest values
Organize time and energy
Determined enthusiastic energy
Unceasing effort
Call the divine Force. (MSS, somewhat altered)

Evoking Luck
What humans call "luck" is not the conscious evocation of it; but its unconscious form. I.e. it is fortuitous, but unintended. Instead we want to
evoke luck on demand -- shifting from the unpredictable luck of ordinary life to the persistent Luck through the conscious, evolved personality. This is the higher form that we can be masters of, and evoke
when we so choose.

How then do we create this Higher Luck? The Higher Luck issues forth as a result of the following: a clear idea of what you want to achieve, a great will and determination to make it come about, the organization of the details through strategies, including the adoption and implementation of appropriate values, a full persevering effort that is matched by skills of execution and a supremely positive attitude. To insure the cooperation of life, you offer the matter to the spiritual force. Then you will produce luck, i.e. Life response, i.e. Instantaneous miraculousness.

The Process Expressed as Energy Conversion
(back)

Energy, Force, Organization, Skill, Results
The process of creation converts energy into a force which is organized into productive power, and through skills create results.

Process or Accomplishment
Aspiration releases energy, Will directs energy to become force, Organisation changes force into usable power, and skills create results out of power. (MSS)

Energy Conversion Process
Energy is generated and released by an aspiring will. It is directed by self-conception and translated into force. Force organized is transformed into productive power. Power channeled and expressed through skills generates results. This is a summary description of the process that governs accomplishment from the microscopic scale of the individual act to the universal scale of national and international events. (MSS)

Process in Terms of Energy Flow to Manifestation
The process of energy conversion that ends in abundant results begins with one's Direction, which takes the original energy one has, and turns it into a directed force for accomplishment. The direction is then Organized, which turns the force into a power for accomplishment. When it is implemented, the power is turned into vast Results of accomplishment, success, and joy, fulfilling the original vision and goals of the vision inbuilt into the Direction phase.

Process of Accomplishment

  • Accomplishment occurs along the energy flow diagram of :  Energy > Force > Organisation > Results.
  • Energy is released by the aspiration for the results.
  • Energy changes into Force by the direction of mental will.
  • Force becomes POWER passing through an organisation.
  • Here it is the organisation of your character and personality.
  • Results are achieved by the skills that utilise that power. (MSS)

Energy Converted to Force
Energy alone may result it movement or activity but it is not sufficient for accomplishment. It must first be converted into a force that is directed toward a specific goal. Energy is converted into force when it acquires a clear and focused direction. The acceptance of a lofty goal or objective, the formulation of a strategy and plan of action help convert energy into force. U.S. coach Herb Brookes’ lofty aspiration to win the 1980 Olympic Gold Medal in ice hockey generated a commanding force that was able to overcome the skepticism of the Olympic Committee members, the supreme confidence of the Russian professionals, who had won four successive gold medals and 42 straight games, the doubts and hesitation of his inexperienced, young amateur American players to inspire his team to victory. Brookes’ goal was a passionate quest, not just a sweet dream or wishful thinking. He released his full mental, vital and physical energy and that of his players and directed it to attain that high and seemingly unobtainable goal. A scientist who seeks to master Newton’s equations, a businessman who decides to create a new product or market a new service, and a student who chooses a course of professional study are converting the energy of their personalities into a force for accomplishment in their respective fields of endeavor.

Energy is also converted into force by the acceptance of high values or ideals. Here the goal is not a specific result but rather attainment and maintenance of a high level of conduct such as honesty or truthfulness. Here a subtle aspect of the process reveals itself. For while the release of energy is a preceding stage to the generation of force in our description of the process, it is also true that the acceptance of an inspiring direction can release or generate additional energy – release it from the hidden reserves within the personality or fresh create it for the unmanifest infinite that lies behind all appearances. The inspiring ideals of the French Revolution released a volcano of energy from the long suppressed peasant masses and converted into a force that wrought havoc to the country’s aristocratic class and governing system. Fred Smith’s commitment to on-time overnight parcel delivery within the USA channeled the collective energies of his company to achieve performance levels of 96% or more compared with 88% by the nearest competition. Dupont’s commitment to the value of safety enabled it to achieve a safety record more than 69 times better than the average for all U.S. industry and 17 times better than the average for the U.S. chemicals industry.

Opinions and attitudes also influence the direction in which our energies flow and the conversion of energy into force. For the purposes of accomplish, there are no right and wrong attitudes. There are only attitudes that assist accomplishment and those that prevent or retard it. A negative attitude, no matter how justified by events, prevents the free and unrestricted flow of energies required for accomplishment the way a red traffic signal stops the flow of cars at an intersection and prevents its free, uninterrupted movement down the street. Positive attitudes are like a string of green lights that enable you to travel at a steady speed for block after block without slowing or stopping. Open-mindedness, positive thinking, expansiveness, and willingness to change are green lights for accomplishment. Doubts, suspicions, fears, pessimism which is passed off as ‘realistic thinking’, shrinking from what is new or challenging are red lights, which no matter how justified by past experience or current circumstance, prevent the conversion of energy into force for higher accomplishment. Herb Brookes’ apparently baseless optimism turned out to be a real force for achievement, while the apparently ‘rationale’ skepticism of the committee members presented one more obstacle to be overcome on the way to accomplishment. Any employee who accepts full personal responsibility for the success of any work in his company gives clear direction to his mental and vital energies and converts that energy into a force for accomplishment, regardless of who originally conceived of the work or who is organizationally responsible for it.

The force of energy is mitigated by any factor that tends to blur the objectives, create ambivalence or misdirect the energy. The U.S. Olympic Committee was more concerned about avoiding the possibility of an embarrassing defeat than about winning the gold medal. The businessman who seeks to make a big sale may be hampered by the knowledge that he will have to work extra hard to complete the transaction once it is sold. Most fast growing companies slow down because of increasing resistance to additional work from their own employees, rather than from any decline in market opportunities. A person jealous of his associates may be hampered in pursuit of a goal by the knowledge that other people will also benefit from the success of his efforts. Situations of this type send conflicting signals that channel the energy flow in different and sometimes opposite directions. (MSS)

Organization Converts Force into Productive Power
Force acts through structure to accomplish work. The powerful aspiration of the Indian masses for freedom could not act effectively to achieve the goal of Independence until it was expressed through the structure of the Indian National Congress Party, which launched a national freedom movement advocating the boycott of British products and non-cooperation with British authorities. The potential energy of a fast-flowing river is converted into productive power by channeling it through the structures of a hydro-electric power plant which transforms the kinetic energy of running water into electrical energy for distribution. The energy, talents, skills and aspirations of individual hockey players were molded into a championship US team by an organizational structure headed by a strong leader, a team of trainers and medical staff, and assignment of individual players to different positions according to their unique abilities. So too, Fred Smith’s focused determination to build a courier company was achieved by creation of a business organization consisting of levels of authority, specialized departments and functions, systems for management, communication and operations.

Life evolves by consciousness, consciousness evolves by organization. Organization converts force into productive power, the way the nervous and muscular system of the body translate the mind’s intentions into power for physical actions. Without organization, even the most powerful force will achieve the minimum results. Organization can magnify and multiply the results by any level of force 10, 100 or 1000 times. Imagine what would be the level of information possessed by the average human being were it not for the organization of knowledge through what we call science and education. Until the invention of the printing press and the founding of scientific associations such as the Royal Society, individual scholars and inventors had no way to benefit from the countless similar efforts of their ancestors or to pass on their achievements to the rest of the world, except by personal instruction to small groups of disciples. The publication of scientific information in journals, the discussion of scientific issues by national groups of scholars, the registration of inventions as patents, the collection and dissemination of information and ideas by libraries and universities, the training of teachers and teaching of students through national educational systems, and the compilation of encyclopedias were a few of the means by which society has organized the pursuit of knowledge and education so that the cumulative discoveries and experiences of humankind over centuries can be passed on to successive future generations of youth in a highly organized, systematic and effective manner. The simple organization of a library provides access for an entire community to information that each individual would otherwise have to acquire on his own at huge expense.

Organization is the application of mind to arrange ideas, objects, materials, people, processes, and activities in space and time. Organization exists at the physical, vital, mental and spiritual levels. The power of organization derives from the power of mind to create order. Ideas are organized into theories. Information is organized into subjects and fields of knowledge. Our views of different people and things are organized into ideals, values, opinions, beliefs and sentiments. Our emotions are organized into feelings, attitudes and motives. Our physical bodies are biological organizations simultaneously performing innumerable functions for the sustenance, maintenance, growth and activities of our lives.

The tremendous advances of civilization in productivity and prosperity over the past five centuries are the result of the organization of human ideas and energies to produce greater results. Technology is the organization of material processes according to a mental concept. Markets and financial institutions organize production and trade. What we call money is a complex organization created and supported by countless social institutions, laws, regulations, customs and cultural practices. Law is a codification of public conscience backed by legal, judicial and political organizations that govern the conduct of individual behavior and public affairs within and between nations. All human accomplishment is the result of effective organization of human ideas, attitudes, energies and activities. The more efficient and effective the organization, the greater the productive power and the results achieved.

All forms are organizations of energy. Words are organizations of sound energy. Ideas are formations of thought energy. Companies are organizations of human energy brought together to produce and delivery products and services. Atoms and molecules are organizations of material energy. Since all finite forms are frontal appearances of the infinite, no form can give full and perfect expression to the infinite potential that is inherent in everything. As the exponential improvements in the processing speed and storage capacity of computers been made possible by a more and more refined and perfect organization of energy flows through the microscopic transistors on a silicon chip, the scope for improving the effectiveness of organization, of releasing greater power from what appears as finite, limiting circumstances, is without limit.

Accomplishment depends on the quality of organization that converts force into productive power. The effectiveness of social organizations, such as companies, NGOs, and government institutions, depends on the clarity of the organizational structure which allocates authority and responsibilities to people at different levels and in different specialized functions; the policies, procedures and systems that govern how activities are carried out and monitored; the knowledge, skills and attitudes of individual staff who take decisions and perform tasks; the coordination of functions between departments and divisions; the integration of functions between levels; the relationship between the organization and the society in which it functions, including its relationship will many other types of organization. It also depends on the ideas, ideals, values, attitudes and understanding with which the organization was founded and with which it operates. Values such as discipline, freedom, truthfulness, transparency, efficiency, honesty, credibility, punctuality, speed, cleanliness, orderliness, regularity, standardization, safety, maximum utilization of time and space, accountability, cooperation and harmony are among the most important that directly impact on the productivity and effectiveness of the organization.

The organization of society-at-large is based on the fundamental ideas and values on which it is constituted. American society is based on values of physical freedom and individual liberty supported by the application of information, education and technology channeled through practical organization for economic production and commercial interchange on a national scale. The Soviet Union was organized as a police state in the total absence of political freedom for the security of the socialist system and centrally planned production. The international community today is based on the values of power and sovereignty of individual nation states, each pursuing its own interests through mutual exchange and alliances on the basis of common interests. The European Union is evolving a democratic organization of interdependent states partially surrendering their sovereignty to common laws and institutions based on values of peace, security, cooperation and equality. (MSS)

Organized Power is Converted into Results through Skilled Action
Skill is the final link in the chain between energy and results. Organized power is converted into results through skilled action. Skill can be defined as the capacity to channel energy in a controlled manner to achieve the maximum quantity and quality of result in the minimum interval of time. Skills exist at all levels from the physical to the spiritual. Physical skills govern the way in which nervous-muscular energy is channeled to control the movements of the body. Social skills govern the way vital-emotional energy is channeled in our behavioral interactions with other human beings, especially during the communication of thoughts, feelings and intentions through the spoken word and gesture. Mental skills govern the way our minds control the movement of mental energy to process observations, information, thoughts and ideas through such faculties as memory, thinking and imagination. In the analogy of the hydroelectric power plant, skills are the final link in the chain represented by the hair-thin tungsten filaments in an incandescent bulb, TV picture tubes, the tiny transistors on a silicon chip, and the pixels on an LCD display that convert electrical power into usable results. In the absence of this last link, power is not productive.

The scope for elevating the performance on any act rises on a scale from one to a thousand or more. Consummate skill can equal in power that of an entire army or government. When FDR assumed the presidency in the midst of the Great Depression and confronted a public panic by bank depositors that threatened to decimate the US banking system, he employed his ultimate skills as a political orator to persuade the American people to stop panicking and redeposit their money in the banks. When the banks reopened two days after his historic radio broadcast to the nation, they did just that. Sri Aurobindo said of Napoleon that when the battle-hardened, well-equipped professional mercenary armies of Europe descended on France to confront a newly assembled army of young French conscripts with little military experience, God placed Napoleon as their leader to equal the odds. Such is the potential power of a skilled leader.

Skills at any level can be refined to achieve higher levels of perfection. But real perfection is of the spiritual plane. Here it is not merely the physical or emotional or mentally energy that is called into play. Beyond these there is a deeper center of being which is spiritual. Values are spiritual skills which govern the way the energies of our central or spiritual being are channeled and expressed through thought, word and act in pursuit of the ideal and perfect. Elevating the values with which any act is performed, that act is imbued with spiritual power and energized to deliver far greater results. Combining keen commercial skills with a commitment to fairness, truthfulness and service to the community, Quaker merchants in early America became so successful that they were forced to establish banks to channel the wealth that flowed in from their work. Merck pharmaceuticals rose from fifth to first in the US prescription drug industry and eventually to first in the world by striving for perfect credibility and integrity in the information they disseminated to physicians. They succeeded so well that doctors came to regard the company’s representatives as impartial, objective and invaluable sources of reliable pharmacological information and expertise. (MSS)

Creation, Accomplishment, Knowledge, Will, and Energy
-
Accomplishment is determined by the knowledge we have and the will to accomplish it. Knowledge and will creates energy that when organized manifests as accomplishment.
-The universe came about because a Divine Knowledge together with a Divine Will released the plane of energy from which the forms of the cosmos took shape.
-Thus there is one fundamental process of creation in the universe.

[Along the way you develop new found energies that can enable accomplishment.] Your task is to fruitfully use these newfound energies, directing them to become a force, organising them into power, offering them skills you possess so that the power yields tangible, usable results. ... You will find yourself in a new environment in which opportunities sail towards you from the atmosphere. (MSS, slightly altered)

Human Choice & Accomplishment
Human choice is a powerful determinant of results. That choice does not always lead where an individual expects it to, but it always exercises a powerful influence.

In Pride and Prejudice Lydia wanted a dashing husband and she got one. Jane and Bingley wanted like-minded mild mates and they found them. Charlotte wanted security for herself and higher accomplishment for Eliza and she accomplished both. Darcy wanted a woman who could support and sustain the lofty position of his family. Although Elizabeth does not bring a pure pedigree, she has the intelligence, clarity of mind, strength and character to revitalize the family. (MSS)

Accomplishment, Organization, and Determination
Accomplishment needs organisation. Organization flows out of one's determination. Thus, determination coupled with organisation accomplishes. (MSS, reorganized)

Following Energy Conversion Process to Completion Attracts Positive Life Response
Consciously following the energy conversion process, i.e. the process of creation and accomplishment  --  direction, organization, implementation/results -- inevitably leads to positive life response. Life Response examples:

-An individual envisioned that he wanted to do photography of a bay region, and then made the decision to do so. He organized the vision/decision by planning out where to go. He then carried out his plan, which ended in everything working itself out perfectly; i.e. positive life response.

-A man who had avoided working on a project now felt he should resume it. He had a vision of what he wanted and now made the decision to carry it out. (This has the effect of converting his initial energy into a more powerful force for accomplishment.) He then organized how he was going to perform the piece of the project. (This has the effect of further energizing the force into a power for accomplishment.) He made the determined effort, applying his skills and knowledge to carry it out, which ended in completion of his vision and the corresponding results. (Thus energy as power for accomplishment is converted into perfected results.) A moment after he emailed someone the finished product, he got a returning email offering him work for the next three months. (In addition he had additional energy to see through the rest of the project, and had new insights into the subject matter that the project addressed.)

Measuring the Results as Life Response
We can measure the results in terms of life response, including how rapidly it occurs and how abundantly it manifests; by how time is abridged, how normal laws of cause and effect are overcome, and how the infinite results appear where before we see there was only finite possibility.

One's Focus and Direction Utilizes Rational Mind Which Attracts Descents of Knowledge from Universal Mind
Normally our minds are governed by the outside, by the input of the senses, and by the emotions. However, when we make a movement away from these influences, and move toward rational thought, we can see that life responds positively in kind. One example of this can be seen in the fact that when one moves to mental focus and specific direction in life, life responds through descents of illumination and intuition into our minds of what to do next. For example, a man was confused about where he should take his work. He was ruled by the inertia of the body and the whims of his emotions. Then he decided to focus, and give direction to this life; i.e. he utilized the rational, non-sense aspect of mind. Within a few minutes of his focus, he had a sudden illumination of an idea of how to specifically implement his plan with a particular client. Perhaps we can say that the focused direction of mind has a greater capacity to go out to Universal Mind, from which he receives illuminations, light, intuitions of knowledge, without thought, of what to do next.

One's Decisions, Choices Attract Positive Life Response
When one makes the decision and choice to do something, life tends to respond in kind. In fact, virtually all life responses involve a decision of some sort that leads to a life response.

"When considering a new endeavor or direction in life it is the decision that is all important, that enables results to manifest. Such results can occur even before the necessary action to support the decision are taken up. The decision must be true, fully endorsed by the emotions, for such substantial results to ensue. We see the close correlation between decision and life response."

LIFE RESPONSE EXAMPLES
-A man who was reluctant to clean a swimming pool made the decision to over come his reluctance, and began to make the mental effort to figure out what compounds would be needed to clean the pool. As a result of this a professional pool cleaner suddenly appears on the scene to take up where he left off.

-A manager decided to train his illiterate workers. They and the company thereafter were so happy and energized. Even the machines started working better!

-
A company had just launched a new product, yet did not yet have any sales on the product, despite considerable effort. One day the manager decided to go through the operations manual to update it to the latest information, including procedures related to the new product. He did this late in the work day. Early the very next morning he saw the first order for the product come in through the company's web site.

-An instructor saw that certain training never got to the level he wanted. He decided to make a major improvement in his approach. From thereon in students responded much better to his approach, and he was later known as an expert instructor of that subject.

-
A man had a sever pain in his upper neck for six months. Also shortly thereafter he began working on a project that was in a state of much confusion. He mistakenly worked on the project, even though he and his manager had not come to any proper agreement. He was doing much work without any pay on it. He finally confronted the manager on this. At the end of  the meeting he noticed that the pain he had for six months had completely disappeared.

Decision and Conscious Choice
(back)

Untitled

It is not the understanding of how to improve one's self that is the key. It of itself does not normally enable results. It is the decision that enables results to spring forth. That decision enables a will, which release a great energy behind that manifests as sudden abundant life response when a serious determined effort is initiated to bring the decision about.

Making the Decision that Brings Results
When considering a new endeavor or direction in life, it is the decision that is all important, that enables results to manifest. Such results can occur even before the necessary action to support the decision are taken up. The decision must be true, fully endorsed by the emotions for such substantial results to come about. In that way we see the close correlation between decision and life response.

Levels of Effective Work from Decision to Determination to Commitment
Work becomes more effective when the consent to it becomes a decision. Our knowing all about a work is knowledge. Our will, the executor in us, knowing all about a work is decision. Decision is the knowledge of the will. Passion that develops about a decision converts a decision into determination.

A determination matures into a commitment when the whole being endorses it. (MSS)

Human Choice
At its deepest level the process of personal accomplishment and growth is rooted in the idea that a person can rise to any level he/she chooses to. We call this idea "Human Choice." While improved skills, greater knowledge, and other factors are part of a process that enables a person to rise to higher levels of happiness and success, it is one’s choice to rise to a higher level in the first place that is the ultimate determinant. Our aspiration and decision to act to move to another level are the springs that can catapult us to the next level of joy and achievement in life.

The issue then at each point in our lives is what do we want, what really matters, what do we want to accomplish, and most importantly do we make the choice and the complete effort to accomplish it. That is the great freedom of human existence.

By making this conscious choice and effort, we take life by the reigns, and create the real possibility of radically accelerating our own personal gain, growth, development, and yes, even our evolution as a human being. As we see our lives rapidly move forward, we then fully understand that what might normally taken a lifetime to achieve can be done in a few months or even weeks because we have made the conscious choice to follow the process. It is the great secret of life uncovered.

Thoughts on Our Conscious Choice to Evolve in Life

Organization in Process
(back)

From Organization to Material Results
Greater organization of the person enables greater consciousness towards the gathered force, hence its greater concentration moving towards material results. I.e. higher organization is higher consciousness is higher concentration of force is greater likelihood of material result.
