The Character of Life
in SHAKESPEARE

In these very original articles, Garry Jacobs of Mothers Service Society presents a dramatically different view of the works of Shakespeare -- and of life itself. First, Garry introduces us to a fresh, new perspective of human existence, which he calls the "character of life." I.e. just as we each have our own individual qualities and character, so too does life itself. Second, we present a number of Growth Online thoughts on the makeup of the character of life. This is followed by Garry's penetrating analysis of five of Shakespeare's key plays. Then drawing on his knowledge of the hidden forces and processes of life, Garry strikingly describes the ultimate determinates of tragedy and triumph in each of the plays. Though we may find his findings startling, in the end they simply reflect life's subtle rules and methods.
Garry concludes that it is the consciousness of each individual, as well as the undercurrent of energies of society that determine the great outcomes of life, and hence of each of Shakespeare's plays. Moreover, he also concludes that our perceptions that life’s outcomes are fortuitous, coincidental, or even unexplainable are mistaken. Rather they are purposeful, and can be fully explained, as they are the end result of processes of life that reflect the consciousness of the characters and the society around them.
We hope that the ideas presented at this portal give you a new appreciation for the magnificent language and presentation of the Master, as well as a glimpse into the deepest mysteries of life.
