Life
Life as Current/Energy of
Conscious Force that is Source of Forms in Creation
Life is a Universal Plane -The law of oneness is valid on all planes of existence. What differs is only our perception, not the fact. -Life is a universal plane of energy much like the oceans of the world form a single, undivided body of water. -Mind too is a continuous, undivided universal plane in which energies flow back and forth like waves on its surface. -We may think and sense that we are separate, but that is only mind’s perception of an undivided reality. -The mind and ego create the sense of separate centers of consciousness and separate centers of life, but in reality these are only concentrations of consciousness and force in a continuous plane – concentrations of a single, undivided substance of mind and life. -The free communication of consciousness between life forms is similar to the diffusion of heat within a body of water. There is no real inner-outer barrier that must be pierced for the vibration to move from one place or person to another.
Life is a Plane of Energy -Physicists now know that the material plane really consists only of energy in motion. Some of that energy takes on fixed repetitive patterns of movement that are perceived by us as unchanging physical forms. Some energy behaves in varied patterns that are perceived by our senses as light or heat or other forms of energy. -Life is also a universal plane of energy, but the energy of life is too subtle to be perceived by the physical senses, though it can be perceived by more subtle senses in us. Life energy too assumes fixed and variable forms which we perceive variously as attitudes, desires, impulses, emotions, fear, etc. Here the distinction between form and energy is less clear since the forms are fluid and changing. -The transmission of life energy through the life plane is similar to the movement of a compression wave on the surface of the ocean or a sound vibration through the air. There are no barriers of inner and outer to prevent the transmission. -Objects undergo physical movement in space from one ‘place’ to another. There is no corresponding ‘place’ in life. Each type or quality of vibration is equivalent to a ‘place’, regardless of the location of the physical object that emits it. Therefore, objects emitting similar vibrations of life energy are in the same ‘place’ regardless of their physical proximity.

Life Without a Universe Additional MSS Thoughts Relating Life and Energy
What is Life? I would like to offer my thoughts to this mystery: Life is, in essence, a universal field of energy out of which forms take shape. Life not only ushers in those forms out of itself, but maintains, sustains, and, when necessary, discards them. It should also be pointed out that Life itself is the final operation of an original movement that is Divine in nature. There is an fundamental immutable, ineffable Omnipresent Reality behind all existence. We can say that this spiritual Reality became "aware of itself", at which point it can be said to have developed Consciousness. As a result of being conscious of itself, it generated a Force. That Force is the source of energy that is the universal field of Life from which all forms take shape. Then how do those forms of force/energy manifest? At various points, the energy of Life that was at rest begins to move; and consequently reformulate into seen and unseen patterns of existence. Certain forms that emerge are visible and material in nature -- like the plasma, rock, and earth we know in the known universe. Other forms are unseen, including the subtle realms of material reality, such as electromagnetic and sound waves. In addition, there are forces, powers, and currents that are not related to material reality at all. These contain original vital powers and life forces that permeate the universe. These currents and formulations of energy can be said to represent good and evil, positive and negative, and all manner of possibilities in between. There are also currents of mental and spiritual force/energy. We ourselves are evolved forms of these various visible and invisible energies -- e.g. our body is visible; our emotions and thoughts are invisible. The building up, maintaining, and dissolution of energy-based material and non-material forms can be viewed as a great play -- a Play of Life, if you will -- as they intersect and interact to create a symphony of unfolding. Just as an athletic event consists of a field, the players, and the play, so too Life consists of a field of energy of seen and unseen forms that interact to produce a multiplicity of results. The intricacies of that cosmic Play formulates into patterns, which can be observed by the human mind as principles of Life. All of the principles together give life a distinct Character, which is not unlike the character of a human being. Life is then a Play of energies in which created forms of that force carry out their conscious or unconscious intention, intersect with one another, revealing patterns and principles that together give it a character. If Life's character consists of principles our minds can perceive, what is an example of one? Perhaps the central principle of Life is that of Oneness. In essence, it means that all forms of force/energy are interrelated to one another in an inherent harmony and unity of being. In other words, everything seen and unseen in the universe and beyond are interconnected and One. We humans however fail to see that Oneness since we live on the surface of things. However, when we move to a deeper consciousness within, we begin to perceive the integral unity of all. I.e. when we plunge within, and discover silence, peace, and equanimity of being within ourselves, and go further still and discover our True Spiritual Selves, we withdraw from our ego and seperative consciousness, which makes us much more receptive to the unfoldings of life -- to the full spectrum of truths, seen and unseen -- in the environment. At that point, we begin to perceive that every entity and current of force serves a purpose; that each and all forms are crucial to the Cosmic Play; and therefore that everything is interconnected and One. One way that Oneness expresses is through a related principle that I call "Inner-Outer Correspondence". This principle indicates that everything that happens outside ourselves is a reflection of our consciousness within. Therefore, if we change the inner, the outer instantly responds in kind. E.g., when I change a wanting attitude about a matter, the conditions outside myself instantly become more positive, even though I have not taken any obvious material action. The outer instantly responding to an inner psychological adjustment is the phenomenon that I call "Life Response." I.e., when we shift our behavior to the positive, energies are released, which ripple through space-time, and align with corresponding objects, elements, and circumstances that suddenly appear before us as instances of sudden good fortune. There are many principles that indicate the Character and Play of Life. One grouping has to do with the nature of "acts" -- the fundamental unit of life. One extraordinary principle is the notion that everything that happens to us is indicated by a prior act or event. For example, if I had a problem with a client I was flying down to see, it is foreshadowed by a difficulty I had in boarding the plane. If this is so, then we can offer the current negative situation to the Spirit -- in this case the difficulty in boarding -- and avoid the problem that would have occurred later on! In this way, we are able to change the course of the future in the present.
Through an inner life of discovery,
not only do we see that these understated, yet profound principles
of life in action, but we are also able to affect those very
conditions by making certain adjustments in our own consciousness --
such as changing an attitude, or taking to inner silence, or by
opening to the spiritual Force, to name a few. In this way, we not
only become witness to Life's infinite Play, but we can actively
participate in it -- enabling its further progress, evolution, and
transformation.
The Nature of the
Universe
Here I would like to
describe the nature of
the universe in a
variety of ways, which
I hope will
add to our understanding
of life's meaning and
purpose, including our
role in it.
Energy (Plane of Life) and the Universe -- Life is a plane of Energy, which surrounds the universe.
Even if the physical
universe were not there,
this plane of Energy
would still exist. In
addition, the universe
itself is a product of
that energy. The Energy
exists originally in a
state of rest. Bu then
through a divine
compulsion, it begins to
move, creating forces and forms out of itself, which
becomes the visible and
invisible contents of
the universe.
All forms that emerge in
the universe are
formations of that
energy. When those forms
cease to exist, such as
when we die, the energy
remains and takes a new
form.
Origins of the Plane of Energy -- Energy has its origins in the Infinite consciousness. Energy is
in fact the
final movement of the Conscious Force -- ‘Chit’ in
Sanskrit -- unfolding
from out of the Infinite
Divine.
Thus, the
universe is a product of
a Divine Intent, using
the Force and Energy of
the Supreme for its clay
and substance. What is
created are forces and
forms, visible and
invisible, of which
matter is the most
obvious manifestation.
Animated life, and
mentality are further
formations.
Equilibrium, Rebalancing in Universe -- The universe exits
in a state of continuous
equilibrium. When things
change, the universe
absorbs it and
rebalances itself,
forming a
new equilibrium.
Thus, the universe can
be likened to the ocean,
where if something is
added or subtracted,
whether a swell or
reduced flow, it is
immediately incorporated
into an integrative,
harmonious whole.
In this scheme, relationships among
forces, objects, forms,
circumstance are
continually updated and
being adjusted to
maintain the balance and
harmony; this integral
unity in the universe.
Oneness and the Cosmic Web -- All in the universe is interrelated and interconnected. Each
thing is related to
every other, as well as
the whole; even its
essence. There is a kind
of cosmic web that
encircle the universe
containing a myriad of
strands. Each thread has
its own unique
correspondences,
connecting related
elements, circumstances,
etc a profound integral
relationship. Thus, if
one element on the
strand changes, it
affect other on that
thread -- whether
forces, energies,
circumstance, or forms,
including we humans. In
this way, if we make an
adjustment in
consciousness, others
elements are affected.
More proactively, if we
know what a particular
strand consists of, we
can elevate our
consciousness in a
corresponding area,
consciously affecting
related elements. E.g.
if we know that cancer
has its roots in greed,
we can overcome greed in
ourselves, and watch as
cancer recedes across
the earth as a major
problem of life.
Life Response and the Universe -- Life response is the
phenomenon where sudden
good fortune descends on
an individual or
collective due to shifts
in consciousness on our
part. Life response can
be explained in terms of
the equilibrium of
energies of the
universe. I.e. the
universe is in any
moment in a state of
equilibrium relative to
local conditions. There
is then an elevation of
consciousness on the
part of an individual or
collective; e.g. due to
a higher attitude,
decision, or belief.
Perceiving that things
are now in a state of
disequilibrium, the
universe seeks to
restore the balance. To
do so, a fresh act is
required. That occurs
from amongst elements
along a corresponding
thread(s) of the web of
life. E.g., as a result
of my improved attitude,
good fortune comes to me
from a particular
individual or unique
circumstance along that
corresponding thread.
When the response comes,
equilibrium is restored,
though now at a higher
level.
Keep in mind that the dynamic of
equilibrium,
disequilibrium, new
equilibrium occurs for
positive, neutral, and
negative movements of
consciousness on our
part, leading to
corresponding quality of
response. I.e. I can
attract negative
conditions through a
movement of lower
consciousness.
Necessity of All in the Universe – In life, we want certain things to occur -- essentially
left out of the universe
-- and some kept in. But
at the highest level of
consciousness, we
perceive that every single thing is needed for progress in the
universe; for movements
forward in life.
Thus, in life,
and in the universe
there
is no waste. Everything serves a purpose in the
progressive movement
forward.
In that way, every
single object serves a
purpose, whether
positive or negative.
For us that means
nothing should be
discarded as irrelevant
or unimportant, for the
smallest thing can
determine the outcome of
the largest; and the
most negative can be an
avenue and opening to
the most positive.
The Reality and the Universe -- There is a relationship between the universe and the
Reality that contains
it. I.e. the omnipresent
Reality (Brahman, The
Absolute) is the highest
conception of existence
afforded to Man. It
expresses in all planes
unmanifest and manifest.
The Reality begins as
unmanifest Infinite
consciousness, and then
extends itself to a
universe of forces and
forms. Thus, we could
say that the
universe is the body of the Reality: a manifestation
of the unmanifest.
The Reality has then
become
both the Unmanifest and the Manifest; the Creator and the
Creation.
It is actually more than their sum, but
their unity and
integral relationship. Also, being a
form of the Reality in
creation, we inherit the
infinite consciousness
of the Divine Source. In
essence, life and we are
God incarnate.
Evolution and the Universe --
Evolution is constantly
occurring in the
universe.
There is a constant
upward compulsion to the
highest formation
possible of any form,
including us. When the
form reaches its highest
state, it evolves
another form. Evolution
in the universe is
occurring at the
physical, vital (life
plane) and mental
levels. Animals emerged
from plant and chemical;
humans from animals; and
higher mental, heart,
and spiritual beings
from lower consciousness
individuals.
Thus, we humans are the
main instrument for
evolution in the
universe. There
is a divine compulsion
for change, progress,
evolution, and
transformation in the
universe coming from a
Higher Source. There is
also something within us
-- an embedded divine,
an evolving soul, a
hidden Conscious-Force
-- that also has this
urge for ever-higher
development of our
being.
The Individual, Universal, and Transcendent
--
There is a relationship between us as individuals, the
universe, and the
transcendent. It can be
explained this way:
There is an Infinite
consciousness with a
transcendent status,
with its spiritual
qualities and divine
Intent.
We exist in the universe
to fulfill its destiny
to carry out and
manifest
the Transcendent Will.
How do we do this?
We fulfill the universal intent when we
rise in consciousness;
enabling the universal
to fulfill its
transcendent purpose.
Thus, by discovering our
highest nature, we
become instruments of
the will and Intent of
the Infinite
consciousness. In that
way our destiny is not
only to become fulfilled
true Individuals, but
universal, and
transcendent beings.
Mathematical Formulae of Life through Various Approaches, Angles
Karmayogi says,
"Mathematical knowledge
of life, its formulas
and how it works brings
the limitless into
limit. Moving from will
to knowledge, one lands
in mathematics. That
mathematics in the field
of life is Life
Response."
For years I have attempted to codify all of Karmayogi's knowledge,
including Garry Sir's
insights, my own, and
others.
I have seen patterns in the organization of that knowledge.
Is this real organization my mental view or is it seeing into
something true?
This organization of knowledge keeps coming up this way; in these
patterns of subjects and
sub-subjects and topics.
It's the way of mental knowledge trying to perceive in orderly
fashion all of life.
Out of organization can come formulas. This is so because the
organization indicates
repeating patterns.
E.g. I constantly divide things into five categories; Personal
Growth, Spiritual
Growth, Society's
Growth, How Life Works,
and the Reality/Theory
of Creation. Within
these I see repeating
patterns. E.g. in the
How Life Works division
there is an analysis of
Nature's Way, life's
subtle patterns,
including life response,
the way acts express,
etc. Likewise in
Personal Growth, what we
can attain, insights on
accomplishment, power of
attitudes, negative
expressions, values,
individuality, romance,
etc. In Spiritual Growth
there are all
expressions of spirit,
all of Karmayogi's laws
of spirit, spiritual
evolution and
transformation, etc.
Even the
Reality/Creation
division comes out as
the nature of Brahman,
Involution, Evolution,
timelessness, infinity,
etc. etc.
This is in one sense an artificial understanding, as life is a
Blend of all of these;
from all angles,
simultaneously.
However, one can build up an understanding of things through this
mental construct. It
gets organized and
integrated in our minds.
Eventually we know things from all angles. Interestingly
Karmayogi says we truly
know a principle when we
know all other
principles
simultaneously.
Each person can have his own world view. The Life Divine is a
worldview in of itself.
Sharing world views could bring us closer to a common
understanding that can
lead to formulae of
life.
Karmayogi
has dreamed of creating
the ultimate personal
growth program. He once
explained that growth as
a movement of
consciousness of the
individual within a
sphere. That sphere is
Existence. From that
alone formulae of
consciousness and its
movement can be seen.
Life response occurs
within that wider
context. Personal change
in the sphere is a
subset of universal
change in a wider sphere
containing the human
one. It then goes to
Infinite in Brahman.
Mathematics and its fomulae can capture this as a fundamental
model beneath the
program; thus beneath
life itself.
In Garry Jacobs' book 'The Book' a vast AI system is devised for
analyzing current
problems, creating
solution, and predicting
the future. It is really
what Karmayogi knows,
which is what Life is.
Garry Sir explains it
for over 500 pages
through a powerful
adventure story.
Math is there too in the AI system. This is a fresh angle from
which to devise a
formula of Life or Life
Response.
It is ultimately an attempt to create in one pure droplet the
Essence of Existence.
It is said that when Russian scientists come to an understanding
they do it through
intense argument. The
Britisher and American
tend to be more cordial
in their interaction.
Both have succeeded from
their own ends.
Ultimately it is more
than intensity or
politeness that will
bring about the Formula
of Life. It requires
an integral
understanding through an
integral mind based on
integral knowledge which
Bhagavan and Karmayogi
have given us.
Still it requires a curious mental bent to undertake this mission,
but whose aspirations
are greater still, i.e.
at the spiritual level,
to come forth and offer
that one perfect droplet
of mathematical Truth
that underlies and
reflects all Existence. An Extended Article on What Life is and the Character of Life
Life's Spiritual Source
Life
Life/Energy has its Spiritual
Source as Conscious Force Life is the energy that originates in Chit (Conscious Force) of Satchitananda (Existence, Conscious Force, Delight) The Infinite in order to extends its Delight into a created universe becomes self-aware of its existence that generates both consciousness and Force. When that force is devoid of most if it consciousness, it takes shape as energy, which is the original substance of creation. Out of energy all things take shape in the universe.

our

Consciousness Furthermore consciousness is really an energy and force. Life itself is a universal field of this energy/force that expresses the intentions of the consciousness from which the energy/force originates. Furthermore the consciousness (i.e. energy/force) is the same as the Consciousness of the Spiritual Reality, the Absolute, Divine from which the universe emanated from. That Divine Consciousness is the optimal consciousness that we in life can rise to and have. The more conscious we are, the more we are one with the Divine and its infinite powers. The greater the consciousness, the greater the Divine attributes we experience in our lives -- including its the power, truth, unity, harmony, perfection, peace, beauty, and love.
The Ascent of Life through the
Individual -Survival of the fittest that enables evolution comes from love, commonality, unity, harmony, etc.; not because of selfishness, self protection, self-assertion, and aggressive living of the individual. [This is the movement from the physical and vital in the vital and life to the conscious mind emerging in life, and beyond to spiritualized mind to supermind to Satchitananda] -As life ascends to mind, it grows toward the rule of conscious unity. (One sees there the unity in the in the differentiation and diversity of life.) This reflects the divine law of the Satchitananda in the manifestation. [As there is an ascension in life, as we ascend to higher levels in life, we move from physical selfishness, to vital interchange with others, including desire, et al to mental and spiritual mind-based commonality and unity, reflecting those higher aspects that are there in Satchitananda. -This suggest that life can reflect every aspect, attribute of every plane of mind to supermind in the vital. E.g. the highest aspect of Truth, Love, Oneness, Power, Bliss/Delight, Knowledge can be experienced in all aspects of life, and in all aspects of our vital being.] (Paraphrase of Sri Aurobindo + Additional growth Online Comments)
The Ascent of Life:
The Four Successive Statuses that the Forms of Life Undergo Ego-Oriented Interchange -- The second status is to break the bounds of one's self toward interaction with others; a compulsion of Nature to begin to fuse ourselves with others. There is death, mutual devouring, desire, and the need to expand, conquer, and possess. This is a movement to the vital proper, away from the physical. Mutual
Interchange and Harmony -- The third status
is the conscious movement towards commonality, mutuality, harmony, etc.
It is a movement toward cooperation and mutual help, the associated
group, conscious joining and interchange. In its higher aspects it is
vitally reflected as the ability to be self giving towards others, and
to feel love.
Spiritual Unity with Others, Life
-- Sri Aurobindo says that ultimately there is a need to harmonize two
principles of life: the necessity of the will of the seperative
ego to survive in its distinctness; and the compulsion imposed upon it
by Nature to fuse itself with others. The Three

The Purpose of Death
(in general, and for the individual) Death as a Process of Life
Life and Death
Process of Life and Death -The natural opposition we make between death and life is an error of our mentality. Death has no reality except as a process of life. Disintegration of substance and renewal of substance, maintenance of form and change of form are the constant process of life. Even in death of the body there is no cessation of Life, only the material of one form of life is broken up to serve as material for other forms of life. This occurs through some process of metapsychosis or new ensouling of body. (Paraphrase of Sri Aurobindo)
Process of Life and Death -Thus death is just a process of life. -Death is not a cessation of life. Also, in death materials of a form break up to serve as materials for other forms.
Birth and Death
Spirit Revives
Cause of Death, Desire, and Incapacity -Death, desire, and incapacity are due to the exclusivity and separateness, to the nature of divided being, and to the ignorance of the individual, rooted in ego and mind. They prevent the right balance of energies, which cause dissolution. -Individualized Life is subject to death because it seeks the infinite though in a finite body; desire because it seeks Bliss, and also it has incapacity. -Death also exists because the individual life seeks the Infinite through a limited individual body. Death & Rebirth Why there is an in-between state in other planes between death and rebirth: 1. There is an attraction of other planes for the mental and vital plane in man due to their affinity to these planes; 2. There is a utility, need of an interval for assimilation of the life-experience, including what has to be discarded, and what has to be prepared for the new birth. (Paraphrase of Sri Aurobindo)
Overview of Rebirth (Rebirth is not however an individual being reborn as another individual. E.g. John Smith dying and the personality of John Smith entering the next person. It is instead the movement of an evolving soul through various individuals.) 'Rebirth is the birth of the individual soul from form to form until it reaches the human level of manifested consciousness which is its instrument for rising to yet higher levels, higher possibilities; to incorporate powers of spiritual mind, Supermind, and beyond. -Rebirth is as inevitable as birth. It enables an incomplete being in a body its promise of completeness and its spiritual significance. -If the soul enters this life with a certain development of personality, it must have prepared it in other precedent lives here or elsewhere. The Psychic Being [i.e. the evolving soul], Death, and Rebirth
The Way Out of Death
Evolution of Man and Overcoming Death
Overcoming Death, Desire, and Incapacity through Lead of
Supermind -If Supermind (Truth Consciousness) leads, replacing the ignorance and dividing mechanism of mind, then the exclusivity and separateness are overcome; ignorance is replaced by divine knowledge; and the right balance of energies (of the balance of life force and the form it inhabits) is restored, preventing dissolution, enabling endless life. [Knowledge acting on Will releases energy. Since Supermind has the right balance of, a fusion of knowledge and will, it creates or enables the right balance of energies for sustaining life. Supermind thus overcomes death, desire, and incapacity.] -Only in Supermind can life acquire the necessary charging(?) energies that will enable the body to feel it is experiencing the infinity it seeks, will enable the body not to disintegrate. Supermind takes it out of its exclusivity [of mind, and ego], which is the reason it cannot maintain the balance of energies. With Supermind that is changed. (One can thus control life, its energies, which can lead to endless life.) -The mind, not separated from Supermind, of divine knowledge, would be free from its ignorance, and would not be subject to its ignorances of death, desire, and incapacity. -If the individualized force were the energy of mind free from ignorance, no such necessity of desire would intervene. -Supermind then is not only a mechanism of perfect knowledge, but is the mechanism for the perfect vital and body. The supramental transformation would enable this. The Mother was absorbing the Force to enable the right balance of energies in doing the physical and final part of the supramental transformation. What then are interim steps that we can take using the supramental force and power to affect death, desire, and incapacity in our lives? We can begin by going within, finding the psychic, open to the universal, call in the Force, and let it descent as it wishes?] (Paraphrase of Sri Aurobindo + additional Growth Online comments)
Abolition of Death,
Suffering, and Disease
Purpose of Illness In Creation, and The Transformation Of Humans Gradually, however, through our evolution we will evolve as a species to overcome the negative aspect of creation in our bodies, leading to overcoming of illness, disease, and the eventual possibility of endless life through the power of our will and consciousness. We will surely see great improvements in medicine that will help us become healthier. However the ultimate determinant of perfect and endless health may be through the bringing into our being the powers and influences of a spiritual Force, which can transform humans from out of their current necessity of illness, suffering and death.

Physical Transmutation is a Later
Stage of Transformation
Mental, Vital, and Physical Transformation -There are even the beginning of great changes at the physical level, as we are able to overcome our fixed habits, the need for intense stimulation and attachment, and our reflexive reaction to pain. We even learn how to prevent and overcome physical illness, as we understand their subtle nature, their relationship to our psychological state, to a lacking energy, and other factors. At a further point we begin to perceive that it is possible to even control the body's processes of decay and death (though at this point on the path we do not as yet have the power to make that understanding a lived reality). -Further along on this ultimate leg of the Path our bodies are no longer are subject to death and decay because the very cells of our body have been supramentalized so that they respond to the higher Power, preventing their decay and degeneration, enabling them remain alive as long as we desire. In other words, we are on the road to becoming immortal.

The Mother's Great Attempt -She often referred to death as a mere state of mind, a state of mind of the cells that the cells accepted. If they could change their perspective, if they did not accept death as an inevitability, this could help the cells maintain their form without their deteriorating.

Life, and Good, Evil, & Progress -Life is bigger than good or evil. Life is a whole. It thus needs good as well as evil for it to be complete. -We like the good part, not the bad one. Life will not be complete in the absence of evil or falsehood. That is the character of human life. When it is complete, it ceases to be human life. It becomes higher life. (Paraphrase of MSS)

What Life Is
What is Life?
-Life is multifaceted. It consists of the material forms of
existence (physical); animated, material forms that move and
interact (vital); thought formations that express varying degree
of consciousness (mental).
-All of these aspects/planes of Life are a product of an
essential Energy. They are different formations of that Energy.
-Life then is a universal
field of Energy out of which forms take shape.
-In addition, Energy that is Life is the end product of an
original Conscious Force whose origins is the Infinite Divine.
-Life is also undergoing a forward evolutionary movement that
seeks to manifest in infinite variation evermore conscious forms
of the essential properties of the Infinite Divine.
-Life is thus an upward, spiraling movement of ever increasing
manifestation of truth, knowledge, wisdom, harmony, oneness,
creativity, power, love, delight, timelessness, and infinity.
-Finally, Life has a character just like a human individual.
-The Character of Life is the inner laws and principles that
govern the movements of Energy and its Forms in existence.
Truth of Life from Deeper Consciousness
Behind the surface consciousness is a deeper one that sees life
for what it truly is.
Universality/Oneness of Life
Oneness of Life
Despite the division we see on the surface, there is actually an
inner Oneness to life that we can perceive. If we rise to our
highest level of consciousness, we will sense that everything in
existence is associated and interconnected. That there is behind
our surface perceptions a universal web of existence in which
everything and everyone is bound in an integral Oneness. To
bring that view to the forefront will enable us to function from
our highest possibility, and enable the perfection, even the
divinization of life around us.
Interconnectedness of All at the Subtle Plane
Everything is connected with everything else. Though it is not
perceived in the physical world (at the material level), it is
more apparent from the subtle plane. From an inner poise away
from the surface of life and its sense influence, we can
perceive that oneness and interconnectedness. Having that
perception, we develop a power over it; knowing what inner and
outer strings to pluck to evoke good fortune for ourselves and
the world around us.
Moreover, through that process, we bring the oneness of life to
the surface; i.e. to the Life and Material planes. Then we will
bathe in that Interconnectedness everywhere we turn; indicating
the infinite, divine-like power that awaits us in the future.
Interconnectivity and Life Response
Since every single thing is related to everything else, when there
is a recognized, dramatic change in one object, person, or
event, there is a simultaneous change in corresponding others,
even if they appear to have no connection on the surface. This
is the foundation of life response.
Vibrations and Forces
How Vibrations Spread from the Universal Plane to Us
We believe that we are the source of new ideas and inspirations
when we express them, but they actually originate in the
universal plane. For example, it is often documented that a
great new discovery has arisen spontaneously and independently
at several locations by several individuals around the world who
have no outer relation or connection.
The same is true for other types of vibrations and forces, such as
human emotions and sensations at the vital level, as well as
movements and acts of the physical plane. For example, an
intense emotion originating from the universal plane may be
picked up by one person, only to see it expressed by another in
a different or related context nearby though these two
individuals are not interacting or in close proximity.
Likewise, in a related dynamic, there is a disturbance or accident
in one place, which then clears. However, when another person an
hour later drives to the exact same locale, there is a fresh new
commotion in that very same place, though it might have a slight
variation in character. And this can go on repeatedly there
throughout the course of the day! That is because the vibration
is still there that ensuing individuals pick up on and express,
believing it to be their own unique experience.
We also see this at the level of human accomplishment. For example,
an opportunity comes to one person, who then rejects it
outright, yet it moves on and suddenly is afforded to and taken
up by another person nearby or far away. The opportunity arrived
from the universal plane seeking to realize itself through
someone's acceptance.
This is in fact the very nature of Energy itself in all its
forms. Energy, whether coming in mental, vital, or physical
form, once set in motion, seeks embodiment and fulfillment. If
it is not fulfilled in one form, it moves on to another. That
explains all change in life, including birth and death.

also cancels uncertainty about the future.

The Book
by Garry Jacobs
My colleague Garry Jacobs has just released a powerful new 500
page novel --
The Book --, perhaps the finest work of
spirit-oriented fiction of the new century. It is filled with
spiritual truths, and breakthrough insights into the nature of
consciousness, reality, and the character of life. And yet this
is also a magnificent story about how four very different and
fascinating individuals work their way through a startling set
of circumstance on their way to great accomplishment and
profound inner awareness. The ad for the novel says:
"The Book
is a spiritual thriller, a journey to self-discovery, an
adventure of consciousness, a revelation of occult truths, and a
practical guide for highest accomplishment. This novel presents
basic principles of Sri Aurobindo's 'The Life Divine',
the character of life, and human accomplishment.
Four technocrats armed with a mysterious manuscript, a secret
formula and a radically new computer program battle a conspiracy
of entrenched reactionary forces in a global struggle to
determine humanity's future."
The Mother's Service Society Web Site
The groundbreaking work done over four decades by The Mother's
Service Society is now presented through
a magnificent new web site.
I have been profoundly honored to be part of this organization
and a contributor over the years. I am also humbly grateful to
them for having bestowed their practical and spiritual wisdom
and grace upon me during this time, with special deep
appreciation to the beloved multi-dimensional spiritual genius
Sri Karmayogi and his brilliant disciple Garry Jacobs. They have
been the source of everything I believe in and hold true. I
invite you to explore the site and partake in a knowledge that I
believe is a vital bridge to the next stage of human evolution.
When a Great Work Manifests
Often a great work does not create the intended consequences during
the time of its inception but waits until the next or a future
generation.
The Ideal is the Practical
-What some people consider metaphysical philosophy is actually a
knowledge of the practical workings of life.
-What is considered foolish, unattainable idealism in one
generation, is practical, unthought of natural life in another.
-The ideal is the ultimately practical.
The Character of Life
The Character of Life
Like an individual, life has a character. It expresses according
to subtle and profound principles, which few of us perceive. The
Character of Life can present itself in the most significant
event or in the smallest of acts. However, if we look deeply
into life's circumstance, we can begin to unravel its mysteries,
and determine the inner and outer forces that produce the
outcomes we witness.
On the Character, Principles, and Laws of Life/Nature
-What I call "Nature" is not Mother Nature, but the way of life,
or rather Life itself.
-Life/Nature has a character that expresses through particular
patterns that can be further ascertained as principles and laws.
-The individual who understands life's character, including its
particular principles and laws, will have a great power over it.
-The principles and laws of life are subtle, and are mostly
unperceived by humans. However, there has been a recent opening
as individuals have begun to see the power of attraction, in
which changes in consciousness attract sudden good fortune. This
is also known as a "Life Response," which is based on the life
principle of inner-outer correspondence.
-Principles of life include inner-outer correspondence,
precedent events, simultaneity, synchronicity, law of karma, and
many others.
-Through our higher consciousness we not only become aware of
these subtle principles, but we can read them when they occur,
which will help us determine what course of action to take (or
avoid), enabling infinite-accomplishment and enjoyment in life.
Purpose of Change
Change serves to illustrate the multiple meanings that all
things possess.
(Explanation: We perceive only a part of the knowledge of
a thing, but life wants to move forward and express all
aspects of it. Life conditions therefore shift and break out to
do so, which we experience as change. That progressive shifting
and creative bursting expresses the multiple truths about any
thing/matter; its inner "yearning" to be expressed, which is
beyond our limited one-sided perception and comprehension of
it.)
Infinite Scope for Change
The more things change, the more things change; as there is
infinite scope for variability and possibility.
Thoughts on Life, Death, Rebirth -Life is Energy organized into visible and invisible forms of that force. -The first great Mystery of existence is birth; the second is death; the third is life. -Death is a process of life. It enables the
energy of life to continue.
Death, Evolution, and Rebirth The purpose of death is to enable our further
evolution through rebirth of our soul into another host. There our
true self and being absorbs those new experiences enabling its
further progress and evolution in Its journey through time.
Clearing Dead Opens Way to New Life When you clear away that which is dead, dying,
decayed, etc., Nature quickly steps forward and produces new life,
possibilities, resources, energy, things, etc.
Relationship between the Dead and the Living Clearing the dead opens the way for the
living. Energy
Moves from Old to New Forms Energy takes new form when the old form ceases
to be.
