 Speech, Energy, and Success
There is a will and urge in us. It is the welling up of energy of various types -- physical, vital, and mental. when we speak that energy goes out to others. If it goes out uncontrollably the energies within are squandered. Unless the other party reciprocates them, we may be left exhausted. If however, we reduce our words, soften our speech, or do not speak out at all, our energies within will not only maintain but increase. In fact, if we withhold speaking out something on our mind, life may manifest our intent for us! E.g. the other person may speak out what was on our mind, or we will suddenly align with conditions that are not only advantageous, but directly related to the object of our thought and intent.

Power of Withholding Speech
There is a power in the speech we express through our voice. Our vocalizations originate in our vital/life center, and thus carries a life-power and energy. If we speak too much, these energies are squandered, which tends attract corresponding negative results from the field of life. However, if we conserve our energies through reduced speech - or, better yet, by completely remaining silent - the energies are fortified and strengthened, which tends to attract sudden and abundant good fortune from the world around us.

Life Response Power of Withholding Speech
We garner greater power when we speak softly and with fewer words. We avoid negative reaction and garner the cooperation of life.

Life Response Power of Soft Speech

One 39-year-old wealthy American businessperson lost all 60 of his employees and was preparing to file for bankruptcy. However, through the suggestion of a relative, he and others in the organization took to speaking in a softer, quiet voice. As a result, within two years, the owner was in a financial position to retire for life.

 

On Speech
-Speech generates a powerful vibration that can pass from one to another.

-Speech can be a negative force that acts in life, though not necessarily in the direction or manner intended by the speaker.

-Speech can be a premature act that dissipates energy and cancels or postpones results.

-If we say an act carries a force, and speaking expresses an energy or a force, the refusal to speak restrains the energy or force. It is an act that builds up the energy and increases its power and force for accomplishment.  (MSS)

Silence and Speech
Silence issues when the gaze is turned inward. Speech wells up when the eye looks outward. (MSS)

Blocking Occurrence through Excessive Discussion

To the degree you talk about a thing excessively before doing it, you decrease the chance of it happening.

 

Losing the Advantage of a Negative Knowledge of Another

To speak out that you know someone else's falsehood or trick or method to gain the upper hand is to lose the advantage one has.

 

Verbalization of Small Improvement Cancels Fulfillment When in Weak Position

When you are in a relatively weak position, financially or otherwise, and you verbalize actively, even boastfully a small improvement, you cancel any chance for the full benefit to come about. Therefore, keep it to yourself, until the thing is truly realized.

Silence & Life Response
 Taking to soft, reduced speech quickly attracts the infinite potentials of life -- i.e. life response.

Soft Speech Attracts Positive Life Response
If you decrease the volume of speech or the quantity of words you can invoke positive life responses.
 
LIFE RESPONSE EXAMPLES
-Individuals in a company who were going bankrupt began to practice soft speech. Thereafter, there entire situation turned around for the better.

Strategies for Engaging in Conversation
Listen to yourself the next time you are having a conversation. Are you saying what you are saying because it is the known truth, or because you are attached to it, are falsely energized by it, satisfying your ego-sense which is separative and selfish? At any point you can catch yourself and begin again on a firmer footing of openness and truth, or better yet, silence.

Anticipating a Thing By Speaking It, Cancels It
 Verbally expressing a wish for a positive outcome in a situation has the power to cancel any chance for its success. For example, some sportscasters have the tendency to anticipate a positive outcome to an unfolding of the play involving the home team. They make a statement to this effect at critical moments in the play, rather than holding their tongue. Invariably the outcome is always the opposite of their verbalization. 

This is similar tendency of anticipating anything, such as anticipating a check in the mail, which has the effect of negating any possibility of its arrival. When one forgets it instead of anticipating the chance for its arrival is enhanced. This is of course tied into the falsehoods, and negative life responses (or at least non-positive life responses) that come as a result of desire.

One's Speech Indicates Coming Event
 Whatever you speak in one moment announces in some fashion what is to come in the next moment. (A woman suggests that her mother doesn't like exuberant children and spends the day upstairs. After expressing this she reads a letter indicating a negative elopement with one of those children her mother liked to avoid.)
