Security in Society

Overview

On Security

The first law of a civilized society is a level of order. It is that security from harm (and eventually want) that makes the social environment civilized. It is the essential organization that supports freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. (2009-2011 Q1)

World Army, Global Rapid Reaction Force

There is terrorism and other conflicts in the world. The US is trying to be the policeman of the world; a lonely, perilous, and draining initiative. There does need to be such a force, but the US alone cannot do it by itself. There needs to be a world body to insure security that has power to quickly and forcefully move in security situations. There can be one. It would be a World Army or a Global Rapid Reaction Force. The US can be a partner in it. Now trying alone to be the world's policeman, it is stretching its resources, as well as the will of its people. It needs to give up its seperative initiative and join in forming a World Army to deal with hot spots in the world. Just like there is a need for a Global Fed or International Financial Institution to regulate global money movements and regulations, there needs to be a Rapid Reaction Force to deal with the security problems of the world. It's time is at hand. (2009-2011 Q1)
