Attitudes and Sales Success
Withdrawing all "reasonable" attitudes one has about the nature of the unfolding of a sale will assure it's positive outcome.

Attitudes are powerful. Most are negative. Withdraw them and do what is required of the moment. Life will respond.

Attitudes are a bar; so are our opinions of the matter. Do the work. Be observant. Offer it to the Spirit. The sale will close, and then some.

There are dozens of negative attitudes we have about life, others, our self, and work. They crop up in each sale. Giving them up -- especially the key ones we are tethered to -- will insure unprecedented success.

Stilling the mind of wanting opinions, attitudes, and habits, while offering the matter at each critical point to the Higher Power insures vast sales success.

Subtle Sales
At any point in the sales process there is a psychological possibility revealing itself that if embraced would enable the sale to come about. To have the subtle sense to pick that out is not only the way to high sales, but vast, non-stop sales through life response. I.e. it enables Tenfold sales or more.

It then comes down to having the background knowledge that would enable one to make the subtle distinctions that are revealing themselves, and therefore make the right psychological choice or life movement in response that would in effect garner the sale. In one moment, it may require one to be stronger, in another to make the presentation more innovative or otherwise move off of the beaten path, in a third to immediately go for the close (and do so without emotion), and so forth. Thus, events around one are always pointing which way to turn if one has the subtle sense to recognize it, and the background knowledge on how to proceed. In a way, one becomes an expert system within one's self, responding to any and all conditions.

Even an untrained salesperson can have or develop that subtle capacity. The Tao de Ching speaks of the flow of life. If one is truly in touch with that flow, irrespective of any and all ''reasonable'' factors, one can rapidly move toward the sale (through life response) that is the inevitable result of what is being broadcast at low frequency in the surrounding atmosphere.

In the powerful sales stories I have been reading in several books, people are making one single significant change that garnered the sale (and in most cases made life respond). An Integral Salesperson therefore would perceive small events in terms of an opening to the wider whole which is the Sale on any and all occasions. He would be untethered by strict, conventional approaches. Instead, he would be a free thinker, shifting in space and time as the atmosphere dictates and reveals its secrets, enabling that Salesperson to become one with the Sale, which is really more than that small close, but the Infinite Sale that lurks behind.

Observing Subtle Signs
Observing the subtle signs will reveal the inner and outer tact to take which will bring one the sale and then some in record time.

Developing the inner psychological knowledge of life will be a great aid to vast sales success.

Affecting Rules of the Collective in Our Desire to Help the Customer
In the case, where the companies rules supersede our ability to go the extra step to help the customer, I would add this spiritual approach:

I would say that if from the heart one wanted the best for the customer, not just one but the entire collective thereof, there would not have been a dip in sales or layoffs, as one would be in touch with the aspirations of the society, which Karmayogi refers to earlier in his article 'Surface and the Subliminal in Business.'

Or maybe one can say that if one truly aspires for what is best for all such customers in society sharing in the specific situation and circumstance, and offers that to the Divine, there would be no dip in sales for customers or layoffs of staff, as life would respond to one's aspiration for the collective movement though new, unprecedented positive developments. The fixidity of the society -- in this case of management and its policies -- would break down.

We see a world of impossibility where the companies set rules, but we do not realize that through the spiritual Force and intense aspiration, we can disturb the equilibrium of life, which is then restored through powerful, unprecedented, creative response of the collective.

At the outset Karmayogi speaks of giving up our conceptions of time, finiteness, and possibility. This then is an occasion to move the collective from within.

We are after all not just individual beings, but universal ones as well.
