Infinite Emerging from the Finite

From the smallest, tiniest circumstance can emerge vast change, showing that the Infinite can emerge from the finite. Thus, if you shift your consciousness to the positive on the smallest of occasions, you will attract marvelous conditions demonstrating this dynamic.

Create Infinitely
Since the Infinite Spirit is the source of all creation, we can utilize that same spirit to create infinitely.

Accomplishing Infinitely by Acting on the Universe Contained Inside Ourselves
For 10,000 years we lived our lives based on our perception of physical space and measured time, which the Internet now threatens to abridge to a considerable degree. And yet the deeper inner consciousness of an individual can contain the entire universe within himself at any moment, negating space and time altogether. E.g. he can take actions from those depths, using that Force, enabling life to instantly respond up to an infinite degree from anywhere on earth within seconds. Even the Internet is a scratch of the surface compared to the accomplishment and joy that can emanate from this timeless, spaceless, infinite existence that we can contain from within.

Infinite Potentials of Life and the Force
Sri Aurobindo believed that we can abridge 30,000 years of human evolution into 300 or even 30 years if we consciously evolve our nature, and aspire for and open to the spiritual Force. In that process we open to the infinite potentials of life; which can enable stunning new developments in technology, in products, in any work, institution, social entity, or field of life. When we bring in the spirit in our lives we literally bring in the same infinite powers that created the universe. By opening to the Force the infinite potential for accomplishment, success, and joy defies our wildest imagination.

Our role is to find spirit in life; to find the spiritual Being in ourselves (whose origin is the Divine) in the Becoming, i.e. the activities, actions, circumstances, events, and acts of life. We evolve and evolve life by discovering the Being in the Becoming. Organization, the Force, and Efficiency of Results
Organizing a work or an endeavor one level higher than its current status, creates substantial improvements of results relative to that effort. E.g. the likelihood of success of an activity may be doubled or more. That is the power of organization. Opening to the Divine Force however opens enables infinite possibilities, where productivity and success can be 10, 100, a 1000 times to infinity greater. It also enables the decent of one or more spiritual properties into the atmosphere of the work, such as Truth, Knowledge, Power, Peace, Oneness, and Delight. This is the power of Spiritual Organization, a super organizing mechanism; an instrument of the Divine Force.

How to Make the Infinite Enter Into Our Life

Though our life is very finite and limited, it is not without scope to allow the entry of The Infinite considering that Mother is there in our lives. Application of some of Her Spiritual principles should definitely succeed in bringing a touch of Infinity into our lives even if the full force of Infinity does not enter into our lives. When it does enter it will have some positive impacts such as unlimited income, unlimited joy and a very wide and integrated understanding and a sense of total freedom from all restraints. So let us see what we should do to bring a touch of Infinity into our lives.

1. The Infinite is self-existent. If so we should also learn to maintain an Inner joy that is independent of outer circumstances. Remaining cheerful only so long as we keep getting good news is to be in the control of the Finite. Maintaining a self-existent joy that issues from inside and is independent of outside factors is to invite Infinity into us.

2. Whatever be the work we are doing whether it be big or small, we should do it as perfectly as possible in terms of quality of work, in as short a time as possible and as inexpensively as possible.

3. We should widen our mental outlook and learn to see every issue from the point of view of others involved and not just cling to our point of view only.

4. We should always learn to look at anything in its wholeness and not see in a partial and segmented manner and make the mistake of treating a part as a whole.

5. The nature of Infinity is total freedom from all restraints. Even if we cannot free ourselves from all social and physical constraints of our lives, we should try to cultivate an inner detachment from all outer activities and happenings which can give us an inner freedom that generates a sense of Infinity.

6. Even if our financial and other resources are in short supply, we should boldly come forward to spend to the last rupee trusting that Mother’s grace will renew the financial and other resources in an endless manner which will give us a sense of infinite supply.

7. We should try to practice Self-giving which will have a widening effect on our personality and make all our positive activities expand.

8. Reason keeps us confined to the Finite and Limited world. We can try to shift from the plane of Reason to the plane of Faith and Inspiration and then we can see a corresponding widening effect.

9. We must learn to look at our activities and requirements not in the short-term but long-term perspective and that will widen our outlook.

10. We must withdraw our identification with our body which is a limited and finite entity and learn to identify with our soul which is an infinite entity.

11. Cultivating Individuality will endow us with the power of Infinity since a well-formed individuality turns the individual into a spiritual dynamo.

12. One must learn to recognize all signs of infinity already in evidence in nature and tune ourselves with that and thereby hope to make infinite be born inside us also. (MSS)

Practical Concept of Infinity
A key to a higher future life is to see the practical concept of infinity; that the infinite can actually emerge in any finite moment in time; enabling the vast future results to appear in the present, thereby overcoming our notions of what is possible in space and in time.

Practical Concept of Infinity
This principle essentially means that you can accomplish and succeed in life to literally an infinite degree if you make contact with and then open yourself to the spiritual powers of the Divine Reality.

Going within in essence enables you to begin to really realize the principle of the "practical concept of infinity;" that all of the infinite potentials of life can be made real, can be embodied by you in your life as a practical reality. Infinite abundance and success and joy can really happen. By going to the depths, we begin to move from what we perceived as a finite life to the real experience of an infinite life, as infinite abundance, prosperity, achievement, success, and joy.

Evoking the Infinite from the Finite by Opening to Supramental Force is a Practical Concept

Evoking the Infinity from life is, as Karmayogi says, a "Practical Concept." It's as practical as breathing and eating and walking. When we open to the supramental Force, to the Mother, it happens; life moves, and vast results come (infinite) where there was hardly anything before (finite).

Dozens of people we know have evoked these powerful life response results hundreds if not thousands of times -- showing that evoking the Infinite from the Finite is indeed a very practical concept. It is the way of accomplishment of Tomorrow; it is the way the Inner Moves the Outer; a reflection of how the Creator created an infinite universe from out of a Divine Source.

Practical Concept of Infinity in Our Lives

It is infinite Brahman that created this world of infinite joy. Infinity is not only a Spiritual concept or Mathematical concept. Infinity is a practical concept. (MSS)

Practical Concept of Infinity
In the very beginning of creation, there was Infinity and Eternity, says the scriptures. God is described as an infinite Being living eternally. Mathematics says that the Infinite does not increase or decrease. The Infinite multiplied by any number, say ten, remains Infinite. Even when the Infinite is divided by ten, it remains Infinite. It is an important concept in mathematics.

Spiritually too, the Infinite is equally important. Infinite minus Infinite equals Infinite is the dictum of the Upanishads. The Gita puts it as, "It moves not, but it is always ahead of you." Again, the Gita says, "It is indivisible. It is there in the divisible things undivided." Sri Aurobindo ascribes to Infinity, the concept of it, the most significant value in life.

I call it the Practical Concept of Infinity. It means Infinity that is so important to spirituality and mathematics is ever-present in life. In other words, one who realises this truth in life will have the power to multiply things in life infinitely.

Should he realise the truth of the Infinite in life, everything an individual does will multiply.

In the life of spiritual aspirants, it expresses as: 1) abridgement of Time, 2) raising the level of one's work, and 3) making the end result available at the beginning. (MSS, extracted, and slightly modified)

Methods that Enable the Practicality of the Infinite
We can move life outside us in a great way if we learn to concentrate on spirit. When we are involved in an act or a situation or a possibility, such as a client or we are applying for a bank loan, we can find spirit deep within in our soul space and up above by opening to the Force. When the concentration reaches a calm that grows to a deep profound richness, then life moves on the outside beyond our wildest dreams. We have come to the point that enables the infinite to emerge from the finite. Learning to tend the Within and the opening to the Force above are the instruments of this "practicality of the infinite."

Inversion to Logic of the Infinite
Anything can be approached from above or from below. What is sensation to the vital is fact to the mind. Logic of the finite changes into logic of the Infinite when this inversion takes place. (MSS)

As Representative of the Infinite Consciousness We Can Express the Infinite in Our Lives by Giving Up Ego and Perceiving the Utility of the All

-Every soul, every individual is in its inmost being a part and portion of that Infinite, its representative, its delegate. Our very being is a portion of its Being, our personalities are richly woven fabrics composed of myriad colorful threads of that Being, vibrations of Being which are true aspects of Spirit.

-The Divine's purpose and goal is to manifest or realize some aspect of its Infinite power and glory in each individual, to give birth to the Divine in man.

-We each possess the creative power of the Infinite to manifest Infinity in our own lives. We are each the creator of our lives. We are the determinate of our own creation.

-In order to reveal the Infinite in the finite, we must discard the minds ordinary, superficial egoistic view of life and replace it with a non-egoistic regard.

-The Unknowable appears to the divided ego as a life of limitations and dualities. Withdrawing Ego we perceive the utility and purpose in everything. We discover that all that comes to us, comes for our progress; every problem contains within it an opportunity, every evil directs us toward a greater Good, every error points toward a greater Truth.

-We overcome ego vitally by withdrawing reactions of all types; by withdrawing our opinions and preference; by withdrawing from the surface to the depths. (MSS)
