WHAT LIFE RESPONSE IS: -Life Response is the capacity to attract or create favorable circumstances and events from the world around us that appear to occur by 'chance' or 'luck' rather than as a direct result of our own physical actions. -Life response is the term applied to the action and initiative of life that occurs in response to the thoughts, feelings and actions of individuals that are not readily explained by external cause and effect. I.e. the inner and outer are One. Therefore, if the inner me changes, the outer instantaneously responds in kind. -The principle Inner-outer correspondence exists occurs because there is a subtle unifying force and energy behind all existence that binds all objects and individuals in the universe across space and time. This unifying mechanism enables the correspondence and connection between what we are inside, i.e. our consciousness, and the world around us. ------------------------------ THE HUMAN BEHAVIORS THAT EVOKE LIFE RESPONSE: -Life responds mostly to a shift from a negative to a positive attitude, from weakness to strength, from agitation to calm, from lack of organization to cleanliness and orderliness, to holding back the expression of a thought and feeling (Silent Will); to overcoming a reluctance, to an intense aspiration to achieve something, to a decision made, and by opening to the spiritual Force. More specifically: -Shifting the inner or outer status to the positive, elicits positive response. -Shifting the inner or outer status to the negative, elicits negative response. -There can also be neutral response due to neutral behavior. -Life responds to one's aspiration, attitude, decision, and action. -Reversing an attitude to the positive instantly attracts good fortune. -Moving from selfishness to self-givingness attracts. -Taking to higher levels of cleanliness and orderliness attract. -Taking to a decision attracts. -Taking to an action attracts. -Shifting from psychological weakness to strength attracts. -Accepting the other man's point of view attracts. -The surrounding atmosphere, overt or subtle, determines the outcomes of events. -Taking to restraint, withholding initiative attracts. -Intense aspiration attracts. -Opening to the spiritual Force (Consecration) attracts. -Silent will compels another person to speak out the thought, feeling we withheld. -Soft speech attracts positive conditions. So does reduced quantity of words. -Eliminating too much thinking attracts. -Remaining calm in the face of difficulty, reverses it, and attracts positive conditions. -Sending goodwill to another, others attracts benefit for that party, and one's self. -Gratitude attracts powerful positive conditions. -Honesty, integrity, doing what is right attracts positive conditions. -Perfecting a thing attracts powerful results. -Right dealing with money - including dealing with debts, circulating it, etc. - attracts more of it.
